Totally agree that proper equipment and preparedness for a milsim is crucial. Learned my lesson not having proper footwear for a 12hr. I wore vans skate shoes and regretted it around the 2nd hour of running and climbing rocky terrain. Getting hiking shoes for the next milsim

Trail runners are many guys go to choice. Light, good grip and comfortable over awkward terrain :) Never wear steel toes, much regret.

Looks like fun. Purchased my first bit of airsoft gear from TA this past week with the help of Ray . Going to play lots of indoor airsoft through the winter and maybe start with a beginner/less restrictive MilSim next year when spring comes around.

Milsims are awesome, but yes definitely take it slow. Its a lot more than just gunplay. You're best bet is to find a small squad of players in the same boat as you, it helps to have support.

Imagine having a HUGE 2-day one night Overnight Game using Nods if ya got em With Different Objectives, You'd have People On Watch While others took turns getting a little rest It Would be Awesome, Or Do they already do things like that?

Daybreak was really not that fun tbh... They bright lights in the middle, unclear objectives, and limited FRAGOs really meant that most of the game was sitting at the same two objectives. If they had positioned the CPs more towards corners of the map instead of in the middle it would have encouraged fighting in the dark and allowed for more maneuvering. Instead everyone met at the middle, and at night it was very difficult to move. The briefing also didn't adequately explain that the ONLY objectives that counted for points were the dynamic objectives that appeared along the middle. Kind of disappointed with the op but I guess it was a first run...

I'd love to try this and the kit and guns all look cool and for sure are fun to play with, but i just can't get over how damn lame the players seem man... i mean no offense to any of you guys I'm just insecure about it. Can't imagine myself playing with a BB gun and having guys yell cringy stuff right next to me as if they're fighting on DDay.
