Very uplifting. I needed to hear this song especially in times such as these when death is on every hand.

I love this song( hymn) as well...I didn't know it was old until I heard it from Donny Hathaway and Roberta Flack singing it.....But I love Ted and Sherri's version. 🗣 🎼🎶

You should look up the back story to this song. The back story is as beautiful as song Not everyone who sings can do it justice.

I just listened to the Ted and Sherry version, and it looks like you are right. The guy who was promoting him and producing his CD took credit for doing the arrangement. Very sad because Ray is a sweet soul who believed in someone because they were famous, and all the guy did was take his money. The audio on here was only the first rough draft and was never finished and I know this because I recorded and mixed it. Even though it is an incomplete production, it is the best sound gospel version of this song I have personally heard. I may be a little biased on this so prove me wrong. LOL

I've been listening to Come Ye Disconsolate for years with Ted and Sheri singing it which was release in 2004 and was originated from Donny Hathaway and Roberta Flack. When I listen to their version, I like Ted and Sheri much better because they revised it with their own twist on it. So, I can tell you for sure, Ray and Sophia copy off of Ted and Sheri version of Come Ye Disconsolate. Just look it up and you find out for yourself.

They did well vocally but the anointing wasn't entirely there. The woman had it but the guy? Not so much.

Just because she gave the song more "dramatics" doesn't mean he didn't feel is just as much...So judgmental. Why couldn't you just have said, they did well, and left it at that....
