Wow, fantastic, I used to sing this when I was a kid. Of course back then it was radio. We would sing this and spin around in circles. This song was fun for kids, bet you didn't know. Lol

I was living in the same town as Linda Blair when I first heard this song (1969), and also 'Sweet Pea' three years previous (1966). Do you all remember the scenes from 'The Exorcist' where her head is spinning around and she has a severe case of indigestion? Well, my name is also Tommy, and I love split pea soup, and the song-'Dizzy'; but I always felt the song-'Sweet Pea'-was kinda of barfable.
