Ray Wylie Hubbard you are a treasure sir. Not to get too deep on a random KZfaq comment but I just turned 60 and clean/sober almost 3 years. The gratitude I can find each day for me began in recovery. Your messages of gratitude and hope are so important and a huge part of my life and how I try to live. I realize it is unlikely you will ever see messages like this but just wanted to express my gratitude to you and the countless artists who might not realize the impact they can have on folks in this crazy old world. Thank you for all you do!!

With Ray Wylie Hubbard and the other guys he reminds me of, it's not the music I love so much as it is the stories. It's probably like the old days in Europe would have been with troubadours traveling around.
