Saw him play this 3 times at the Winnipeg Folk Festival. Once on his own, once with Blackie and the Rodeo Kings, Tim Robbins and Chuck Prophet and once with Trampled by Turtles and New Country Rehab. Each one was brilliant.

The way he worked the Sam Cooke story into that song is nothing short of amazing. I'm going to see him June 11th at The Coach House in San Juan Capistrano. Can't wait!
