One of my dearest songs to my heart…… and Count my Blessings but far too many to list. Anyone could say this, but Ray Wiley Hubbard literally saved my life and got me through some really bad things. I met my dreams a few years back when a mutual friend introduced me to Ray and i was granted the chance to thank him personally!!! He is a great and wonderful man and is very down to earth. He actually told me that its the reason he keeps going and loves his fans for reasons such as mine. God Bless and long Live RAY WILEY HUBBARD!!!!

I LOVE this song, lyrically, vocally, and musically. Nothing like it. Nothing like the whole album for that matter. Thanks Ray. Glad I lived long enough to hear it and play it loud! :)

This song never gets old. One of my all time favorites. The flow and the build-up with the additional backup vocals is just perfect. It's the only song with Eric Church that I ever listen to. 🙂

love the fact you mentioned the intentional conflict with the red dirt bands lyric!! bullseye right there! when i heard this song for the first time i pulled off the road and texted that line to my brother.

@richardmcclane it is literally the best show you could ever see. He travels with a small band and some shows are just him and his son Lucas, and Lucas is a badass guitarist id put up against anyone hands down. But no matter how big the show or how intimate its really a beautiful thing watching them play and watching Ray admire his son to his right!!! But Ray could do the show with just an ol acoustic guitar and or a harmonica. Ive loved him and his music since i was a kid and im 53. What a living Legend he is!!! Thanks for everything you do and have done and once again for saving my life- the Vance family in waxahachie Texas. Jody, laura and our 17 year old baby, Marissa. P.s. me and laura will be married 30 years next july the 16th

Ray, Ray, Ray. Bob French and Norman OK love you. And Terry Ware refers to “when I played with Ray” more often than Judy says “Ray, fuck off.” I loved the Bad Trick video. Who played drums on that bitch? He looks familiar.
