@@dustypatterson3180 I felt bad for asking for a pic cuz it was his parents private residence, he just asked to not be telling people where his people stay at and to make it quick. As an ups driver of course I have to keep it confidential but it was truly an experience!!!!

Awesome stuff; as always. The challenging conversations are my favorites. It feels so cutting edge. You are both excellent communicators. RB is back. Not just coming back. I can’t shake this thought, all offseason. Maybe we shifted way too hard away from the position a few years back. Echo chambers have been created over the year as well, pumping up the WR value further. Ray hit it with in-season scoring being king. I feel like that is key to all of this. Another great description of long term investment being overvalued vs shorter term investment when discussing the two positions. IMO, RBs are real strong assets. Scarcity(rb) vs surplus(wr).

I think they are kinda like draft picks in the aspect of trading them at the right time. Most people look at the position and think they can "figure out it" as the season gets closer or starts and like Ray was saying their value will definitely rebound when that happens.I love to grab back up RB's in the off-season and wait for injuries to sell them. I have found the most success value wise in trades is simply when I play the market. (Buy low sell high) If I'm not competing playoff time I'm trying to sell players to playoff teams and often times selling picks before or even during the draft to maximize value that way. It's almost my favorite aspect about dynasty

I got a question...I wonder if people understand the RB depth behind Saquon....Gainwell, T- Davis, W Shipley and Kendall Milton....And how ambiguous it is, and the difficulty in finding the "actual" RB handcuff

ray worrying about dynasty being "solved" reminds me so much of my gaming experience. In dota 2 there are a ton of advanced metrics and everyone picks the same highest winrate characters which is only about 20% of the character pool. Games become boring and its almost not worth it. I worry about this in dynasty less though because the game is so much more volatile and the ability to watch film will always be a significant factor

there are 75+ players if everything goes right can hit the 15+ ppg but everything wont go right for most of them

Love you Scott but saying a top 24 WR isn't a needle mover is mathematically inaccurate. Yes, a single WR 24 is not going to magically make your team better but multiple along with a hero rb, wr, and QB can make huge difference. It's all about market share.

I think what its gonna come down to is utilization of the proper tools and metrics mixed with coaching, scheme, opportunities, and psychological sentimental timing, and the discipline to pull the trigger on thise edges, but more importantly the discernment between the plus EV bets, and what are the difference making moves that separate you from the pack in your focus, whether thats production, or value...I dont believe its solved...too much human variance...

No matter how many tools come along never will most players continuously grind out value from high volume trading. And that will be the difference. Redraft is going to be impacted by advanced the most. Redraft will be a crapshoot

This is just fantasy catching up to other things like Poker. Game theory optimal has been around for ages and not everyone plays the same cause not everyone uses it. There will always be people that don’t care about those tools

I disagree with Scott. We have gone too far with WRs. There are 5 WRs that I love and the next 25 I don’t care. The point is winning the league and if I can win being led by rbs whom I feel are undervalued I’m good. Love you guys and the debate.❤

Isn't his point that the 5 you love may not be the same as the 5 another manager loves, and both have narratives/metrics to support that love.

@@jleger714 I’m trying to win. My top 5 receivers: CeeDee, Hill, Amon-Ra, Jefferson and Chase. The rest I will throw in a blender. Olave is one of the WRs that I find overvalued. Why have him on my roster when I can get cheaper WRs, 14-16 points who put up the same numbers?

@@rhondacommander5233 I thought the same thing and just traded Olave, 25 2nd and 25 3rd for DK, Geno and 25 1st. DK is my wr 4 or 5 so why not try to get more 1sts and have similar production
