Beatboxing was born in 1980’s NYC as one of the five elements of hip-hop with the guidance of legends like Doug E Fresh, Kid Lucky, and Rahzel. After decades of evolution underground and overseas, innovation continues to push the art form.
American Beatbox is a platform for the beatboxing community to carry the torch into the future, dedicated to helping beatboxers reach their potential and connect with audiences worldwide via content, livestreams, merchandise, battles and events.
The American Beatbox Championships is the premiere beatbox competition in the USA. Every November, over Veteran’s Day Weekend, the most talented beatboxers from around the country come to NYC to compete for the titles, bragging rights, and a spot to represent their country at the World Champs. 2019 marked the ten year anniversary of the ABCs, and the first official year of American Beatbox launching as a platform.

I know Rayul too. I remember we used to share drinks at Starbucks, but everything changed when the fire nation attacked. Only the avatar, master of all four elements, can stop them, but when the world needed him most, he vanished.

Scratch that, I think this was probably the best battle of the event. Inertia's bass is so dirty and hearing it live literally destroyed people. Rayul has gotta be one of the cleanest artists I've ever seen perform live, his beats were so hype and the combinations of sounds/cleanliness has for sure put him into my top 10 all time! Big up to both artists absolutely killing the game!!!

OH MYYY GOOODDDDDD what a ridiculous battle... goes to show the advantage that going second has. inertia's bane of his existence is his structure. it seems like the ideas he has are all dope but they don't transition into each other, thus resulting in broken flow and messy structure. if he levels that up and stays disciplined, he can be a FORCE at gbb. rayul is sooo nasty omgg that first round was one of the best rounds i've heard from him. big up to both of em. Did not see that coming. But Inertia didn't bring the same amount of heat. I had Hope's this year Inertia would take it after how he killed it in the 7 to smoke battles. But he just didn't come hard enough.
