None of these official entities or agencies will ever call you. The only one that will call is your bank and the security watchdog they contracted. With. If you get a call of agencies calling you about any of your accounts, quickly call your bank to verify.

Lesson learned, call the supposed agent’s office to confirm the legitimacy of the person you are talking with’s claims. Also, be very suspicious, especially when you get redirected to a bunch of different organizations that are all very assertive about identifying themselves as well as you and insist that you don’t talk to other people 😂 That’s the number one red flag of scams, “don’t tell anybody about what we’re discussing.”
