In this clip, Vlad started off speaking about Omarion and Mario’s Verzuz, and Raz B revealed that the original battle was supposed to be B2K vs Pretty Ricky. Raz B explained that Omarion’s team contacted Timbaland, which led to the battle being switched to Omarion vs Mario. Vlad then pointed out that a lot of people believe Mario won the battle, and Raz B said that he did “hands down.” Raz B then added that he wouldn’t have taken the battle, and he believes that not even B2K could’ve saved Omarion. Raz B went on to speak about Mario being a great performer and singer, and he added that the Verzuz elevated his career. Vlad then asked Raz B about Omarion claiming that Mario’s team sabotaged his sound, and Raz B explained that Omarion is not a true vocalist adding that he’s a performer. After speaking more about the jabs thrown, Raz B addressed Omarion calling his B2K group mates his “back-up dancers,” and he went on to speak about B2K singing over their tracks onstage.

Omarion's horrible vocals on top of the other 3 LIPSYNCING would have been DISASTROUS!! 🤣🤣🤣 My thing is this...the other 3 members can't talk no more than Omarion because truth has been revealed...NONE of them niggaz can sing or sang live, as Raz stated which I'm glad he was honest in clarifying that!! Periodt!! B2K got by off of pretty boy privilege, dope choreography and frauding the fans with their inability to produce any raw vocal talent. Where as groups like BSB, Nsync, hell, even B5 were groups who can sing live on stage. B5 was waaaay more talented than B2K but their songs just didn't bop like B2K. But them dudes can SANG!!!

Indeed they were not 😂😂. The funny thing about all this coming to light is looking back on Omarion's first book from 2005 (entitled "O" just like his first album), he describes instances where B2K would sing acapella "with harmony and everything", but it just didn't make sense to me because their performances were almost always lipsynced with playback even when the choreography wasn't too heavy. I knew he was lying, this just confirms it 🤣🤣

Real B2K fans know, they’ve always been a gimmick. They were NOT vocalists, you can hear Marques Houston, The Dream and other real vocalists on all their tracks, Marques Houston sung background on ALL of the tracks on B2K first album, some of those tracks on the first albums was originallly Immatures tracks on their IMx album. B2K song “Here we go again” (1st album) is the same song on IMx album with the same title. ALL of it is Marques Houston’s vocals. I knew that back then. What Raz is saying about their vocals isn’t knew, the rest of the world is just now catching on. In my opinion Raz is probably THEEE most honest out of all B2K members as to where B2K stands today. I met RazB on Thanksgiving 2007, he was the most humble, chill, regular person I’ve ever met, it was like he was never famous. Seeing him where he was during that time, after experiencing fame and fortune, he stood grounded in His faith in God and SOLID. He cooked for his whole family and made sure everybody ate before he did, and not to put his business out there but at the time he was going through a lot, This was right before the allegations.

Let’s be honest it was a successful group just like the others great writers & produces made them stand out from the rest in the early 2000s. Omarion always felt like the outsider because the group was already formed before he got there. @fefesmith82 I dunno. Not many. If we look at R&B stuff. Groups who had mutiple people sing 112, Jagged Edge, Boyz 2 Men, New Edition, Pretty Ricky, Jodeci. I can name about 10 more. Even the pop groups. They literally ONLY danced, nothing else. I think Lil Fizz maybe rapped on 4 songs out of all the albums.

Crazy thing is these kind of tricks go back decades. Ya'll remember The Stylistics, the 70s group? Except for LESS than a handful of songs ("You're A Big Girl Now", "You Make Me Feel Brand New" to name a few), their lead singer was the only one singing on their records and the rest was all session singers. Same for Hi-Five in the early 90s (RIP Tony Thompson). The industry seems to reallllyyy love this practice lol
