You don't need to keep Razer synapse on your system. You can set your mouse up then delete the software from your computer. It's been that way for a couple of years now.

Is this true for the lift of distance settings ? Can I set the lift of distance and it’ll remain active after uninstalling it ?

For most stuff, yes. But RGB effects can NOT be saved to onboard memory. You are required to use Sypnase and run it in the background just to keep your custom rgb effect. Without it, it displays the default rainbow effect.

This is a beautiful mouse. I'm currently using the cheaper version of this with no rgb. Been using the deathadder for years prior but this shape has grown on me a lot and this will be my next mouse. Love the mercury white.

How did you feel the grip? I mean there is a little angle there on the glossy black design to the right side. Between the palm space and the right click. Didn't your hand feelt it wierd maybe or maybe stuck in it for a second? Some said it sometimes uncomfortable.

Hyperscroll uses electrical mechanism, you need to have the mouse powered on for it to work.

im thinking of buying this mouse. I just want to ask, when the battery dies after 4h or so, can u change the battery or do you have to buy a new one ? Its wireless for a reason, why i want to buy it.

had the viper and hated it, my hand just cramps up cause its so small and slim. Also its kinda too light so i couldnt aim as well, i ordered the basilisk v3 pro now

i had same exact problem with the original charger the prongs are horrible i just updated to v3 white as well and works way better i already have a razer iphone charging pad on desk by wanted the mouse dock charger so got that as well.

You know you can just flick the wheel for it to activate hyper mode right? There's literally 0 need to use the button.

Never had any issues with the Viper ultimate. I've had it for a little over a year and use it 8-12 hours a day, no issues with it seating to the dock either. I've loved the mouse honestly but it can be a little small for my hand sometimes so this is why I've been looking to add the basilisk to the rotation.

I've had it for 3 years, had issues with the dock once, but a bit of alcohol on the contact leaves did the job. Still works perfectly

The disconnecting issue is only present when using USB 2.0. On USB 3.0 it doesn’t drop a beat. 👌

Have you had issues of it getting dirty easily and it won't come off? I have this same mouse and on the side grip on the left where the finger rests, there's a slightly greyish stain and it bothers me. It looks like a finger print. Tried cleaning it with soap/water and it won't come off. I wash my hands all the time, and it still seems to get dirty. It's noticeable because the rest of the mouse is still clean white like brand new.

Also mine, took about a month for this to happen. Its just this rubber is worst quality...

@@liav1609 yeah it sucks. But I find out the best way to hide it is buying custom skin wraps for the Basilisk. The website “surface gaming” makes high quality vinyl skin wraps that fit perfectly on the side grips of the Basilisk v3 pro. It protects it from stains… it is the only place that makes them for the v3 pro. You should check them out.

all basillisk is always great but the downside of white is that after 6 months no matter how clean u are but u use the mouse almost daily it will caught on to turn into black/yellowish no matter what unless u clean it always after u used but it will still turn colour .

Yep mine too after 2-3 months, gets like dark yellow dirt on it, even looks like the rubber peeled off

@@liav1609 yeap it will peeled off if u wipe ur mouse the wrong way too , a suggestion for u to prevent it. Use alchol wipe to wipe ur hand always before touching it , also u can use alcohol wipe to clean ur mouse with a soft towel just gently wipe it dont use too much force or the rubber will also be coming off the mouse. Also i recommend not to get any mouse with rubber on the side if ur desk collect alot of dust because the dust will always stick on the rubber, cheers

@liav1609 yes but it will not peel of badly, because the rubber material is real soft is literally like rubber. That's why I try my best not to dirty my all my mouses, also because I have a really sweaty pair of hands .

Huawei phones do the same thing with the battery life. By default the power saving mode is on and mame the phone last weeks. If you turn the power save off it may last more than a day if you barely use it. Battery life for tech should be made to last WITH the normal use of the device.

Basilisk would be perfect if the scroll wheel was just tad bit more resistant, and if they removed the sniper button... Absolutely hate it.

The older razer dock is pure trash, the problem with the contacts is intrinsic indeed, one which they never solved. They simply closed the eyes pretending dementia and kept selling produtcs with that shit, and actually charging more because of it.

Is the battery integrated or can it be changed (like a rechargeable AA)? I was considering a new razer mouse as some models like the basilisk x hyperspeed have a removable battery, one thing that newer logitech ones lack.
