PRO TIP:....What many people forget or dont realize is that you can also connect your samsung phone via DEX and play your emulator games on your smart tv wirelessly which makes it even more badass with the controller.💪😎 Havnt seen any videos on that.

Nice I have the first one and love it, I like the lock on the first one because it feels like I can throw it anywhere and it'll survive but I don't use these enough, maybe down the line I can pick it up

For call of duty mobile, quite a few clip on controllers work. My kishi v1 and back bone work fine in game they just don’t work navigating the game menu. You use the touch screen to start a match or what ever you are going to do and the once the match starts the controller kicks in and all the functions show the button format

I totally agree about the switch style joysticks, the kishi v1 sticks are way better but the controller overall is way less comfortable to hold

Don't have this myself yet, but as long as it works well with something like Sonic Adventure I'm happy. For some reason it just didn't feel good with the original Kishi, camera kept working out.

I bought the V1 Kishi and have had it in my possession for the last 2 years. I only play two games at the moment, but I'm thinking I'll upgrade to V2 because I want to record gameplay, as the V1 does not have the capability to do so. Do you think it's better to upgrade for that one reason alone? Thanks, great video btw.

Hey man, can you review the gamesir x3. I heard it isn't that great but I've also heard it's pretty cool. Speaking of cool, it has a cooler and swappable joysticks.

I bought a kishi V1 off amazon last week; came in... as a controller itself, it works great; but the lack of a spine and back support is horrible and it also just looks ugly. I started a return and bought the kishi V2 a few days ago. I cant believe how much the joysticks ruin it for me. Its actually kind of unusable for what I want from it. Im so upset about it. I even took the v2 apart to see if you can swap out the joysticks, but its soldered in with a crazy amount of pins; and swapping it out and setting it up would be a pain. Both ultimately wound up being losers for me. Getting a gamesir x2 pro this week sometime, hopefully it works out better haha. Yours is the only review that Ive seen address these problems head on like this, Im not sure why so many youtubers are being sycophants (or what ever the issue is they are having)... just feels misleading in some ways; so appreciated for your candid and honest takes. Really running out of reasons to support razer any more lol; really hope the x2 pro is what I want.

Kishi 2 new design if for iphone then i cannot use my Razer Chroma cooler to put in between, currently using v1 i was able to do that because the back is flexible.

Charging was super slow on my V1 kishi

Only issue I've had with my Razer Kishi V2 so far is sometimes the joysticks. For example, in Call of Duty Mobile if I push forward to move forward, it doesn't move. Instead, I have to push left instead in order to go forward. Sometimes the joysticks do what I intend them to do, direction-wise, other times they don't. A bit confusing.

I agree with the thumbstick being to small but i put risers on mine and it changed everything.

i want the v2 for the satisfying clicks and the trigger resistance but after hearing about the joysticks its gotta be a no go. i love the feel of the console like joysticks on my v1

What I would like to see from the Kishi and the Backbone is the ability to keep your phone case on while using it. I love my Backbone controller but it’s a pain to always take off and put back on the case when I’m done

It's not just more convenient than a bluetooth controller because you have to plug it in, but you can actually use Bluetooth earbuds without lag

Little note about COD mobile: The game just pretends not to be compatible with the razer kishi (both V1 and V2). If you connect for instance a DualShock 4 via bluetooth, but keep using the razer Kishi to play, then it will work with no problem at all. The game just wants a Bluetooth controller to be connected. Then, you can use whatever you want.

Smaller joysticks + no headphone jack really was not the move. There’s nothing unique about their form factor anymore now, they’re just making a subscription free Backbone controller… What they really need to be doing, is working with game devs to make it work on more Android games like CODM.

Prolly said before but COD mobile works with the kishi v2 if you connect a Bluetooth controller (xb or ps) while it's connected. Also I made a video on my channel a few days ago on how this is THE GREATEST MOBILE CONTROLLER FOR FPS GAMES. Seriously check it out. I'll show you why.

Call of Duty: Mobile on Android only works with Xbox and PlayStation controllers. It's obnoxious. I know for a fact that any Bluetooth or wired can work with that game. Connect one via Bluetooth and then use that controller. The Razer kishi 2 will work on cod mobile. Once you disconnect it'll stop. It's literally the developers that are blocking every other controller from working.

Dude those sticks are terrible. I play apex on switch and I can barely aim with those I rely on motion controls for recoil control and snapping to targets. If only they had kept the old sticks then the V2 would have been a must buy, even at 99 usd.

After some Cheerios. Then bam! Bring in some more kit. Diving deep into the chaos and gimmicks to bring out some actual true light. I say let it all sprawl into all the corners, and further. Dude is always downing the backbone one …. Backbone is the best mobile gaming controller I literally play rdr2 all day on backbone it’s it’s the same as playing on the Xbox it’s like literally like the Xbox version of psp but way better

My honest opinion, buy a Xbox controller. 1. Cheaper than a Razer Kishi V2 2. Has full analogs 3. Can be used more than just a phone 4. Can be used through bluetooth or wired 5. Most likely more comfortable for long periods of time
