hard to find a grey head cushion (headband) replacement
so I decided to fix it myself a simple fix
unlike the 1st kraken huhu... rip
p/s all tool can buy at MR.DIY...
so whoever got my problem can try this method of fixing it...

@@usuiakira I've had low end headsets last 5 years and not have half as many trouble as the Kraken X Lite. I ended up swapping Razer Surround for HeSuVi because it would not record sound when I recorded game footage. Also screw paying extra for THX's shit. HeSuVi works wonders

@DemonLordGamingAC0 i also used the sonic gear headset that i fix for many2 years longer than the razer… overall hardware wise all ok… just cosmetic issue

I did find colored replacements on ebay. Probably from AliExpress but I'm going to give them a try - my pads are cracking/disintegrating not pulling away like yours.

My brother kraken got ur problem… at the end of the day i chage the cracking material with some cloth 😂

Finally i found a video on the exact problem i have, how is it holding up? Did it actually stay together

So far working fine... Just dont use double sided tape, i used that before after 5 second come out.... Also make sure to use a stong glue... I use a 3second super glue... And need to make sure the glue is stick and dry completely before inserting u may need to apply few times... Because u have to bend the thing a little bit... Hope this video help... And have a try..

Yup… hardware wise ok but cosmetic wise expecially the top head band is so bad

I change it already. My Kraken X cracked after 1.5 year using on headband plastic. I wrote to Amazon support and they refund all money for me immediately, so I just bought new headphones (they still in package) and fix this one, order new ambushures on AliExpress, and fixed headband, changed cushion to new. So if yuu have same problem with Razer don't throw it, remember - this headphones had 2 years of warranty.

nope... tried it before using superglue... coz the fabric barely touch the cliping part... advisable to use superglue for longer lasting result
