my v2 pro doesnt automatically connect like you said it just keeps popping up a message saying to make sure it is in 2.4Ghz mode, how did you connect it?

Yea I had to put my email in to get notified. I then made sure my phone notification for the email I used was unique notification so that when I heard it I knew it could have been Razer. One morning at 5am it went off and I immediately checked and went to website and ordered it.

Is the hyper polling dongle needed? or is it just like useful but not needed?

It's needed for 2 and 4k polling. The stock dongle only goes to 1k
