Razor is a great teacher : he's allowing the initial team another chance to correct the mistakes they made in the first match as well as build upon the strong points they showed in the first game, that's crucial for cementing cohesion and lessons learned in the mind of the players.

Roigard, Dmac, Jordy, Reiko, Will Jordan, Clarke/Telea and Beauden Barret is an excellent starting back line up once everyone is back and healthy. Clarke needs to tweak a few things and slow down a little bit. Telea needs to run forwards instead of sideways. Other than that the sky is the limit.

We have to stop kicking back to the opposition.Last game ABs were 1 point ahead ten minutes to go and every time Cristy got the ball he kicked it back into the Poms hands. 5:46
@nicholasthomas7902
@nicholasthomas7902 20 күн бұрын
What you're suggesting is really uninformed. Christies box kicking was pivotal in pinning England back and not allowing them into scoring areas. Keep the ball in hand and it invites penalties and England to get great field position. Tactically the ABs played the last 20mins perfectly to secure the win and in my mind that's what is so impressive about that performance - they adjusted on the fly, changed their tactics when things weren't working and ground out a win. Foster's AB's likely would have bottled that.

You are going to replace Telea - the man who beats more defenders than any other player in tier 1 over the past year, including 10 in the first test, or Sevu Reece - who scored and had a stormer on defence and kick chase, for Caleb Clarke? Cmon man. Can we get a modicum of sense here.
@nvwcj22
@nvwcj22 20 күн бұрын
@@juvetb1you mean Clarke who got a hattrick in the finals? Stats show he's top of the meters made, defensive & work rate top 5, high ball excellent. He's strong. If the forwards are doing their job, he doesn't have to be in there helping them out & exhausting himself. It showed in the SR finals. Blues forwards were spot on, allowing the backs to score! Tele'a was quiet in game against England.
@HiMom2024
@HiMom2024 20 күн бұрын
Telea and Reece work rate off the ball is second to none. It’s not about Carries and all that. We need to continue to boss the breakdown, dominate set piece more consistently and dominate the kicking game. If we do all that we saw what abit of that can do late in game England struggled to get any momentum in the last 20.

@Stephen-bq4nq 19 күн бұрын
@@broadside1944 yeah I've never understood it and what's worse is we do the box kicks inside our own half so if we don't get the ball back we have just given away possession in our own half and the opposition can apply pressure to us. Rugby use to be about controlling possession and territory..
