I managed to shove a 6500kv losi drag motor in my Gorgon and honestly the battery gets hot but my motor and esc run perfectly fine of course I’m only running 2s and stock gearing, perfect setup I had planned to change it before hand just had the system laying around but it runs to good😂

I saw another channel (discipline rc) put a 6s system in it.. .. and it stood up to the punishment... The drivetrain that is... Not the body . That ended up trashed..

Nice brushless bash! I was surprised stock with a 2s lipo was pretty nice for this thing. The body I don't think is Lexan it reminds me of the stuff they use on those cheap china RC's that rips all the time because I see white marks all over mine in spots that the body got bent.. Other than the cheap body I like this gorgan a lot.

Thanks, yeah I think the body is PVC. Very brittle.

Can confirm it’s not lexan. I had a roof landing with mine and the body exploded 😂

The website is changing the recommended brushless conversion. I ordered the kit with the truck. Did not fit. HH is sending out a proper motor.

Stock was 25 brushed 2s Lipo. How fast would you say it is with that setup brushless?

I run a 3500kv on 2s and it's perfect for dirt track racing. 3s is just to fast. I hit 35mph on a stock pinion

I have a 3900kv and 100 esc on 3s in mine on 13t pinion......wheelies noooooo problem

I just can't get excited about this RC even in brushless form. Maybe if it was a 4wd.

For me the appeal is that its 2wd. I have a lot of rc’s and one of my favs is a 2wd stampede. Its a handful to drive and tons of fun.
