If you stagger the placement of the studs, as each stud bites, it will be a new piece of ice. If you question this, just look at a stud pattern of a snowmobile track.

Agreed, a zig-zag pattern would give better traction along with some studs down the middle of the tire (main contact area)

In my opinion I would never run that much aluminum because it puts more strain on other parts of the car but for just general driving (not jumping) I would say it should be ok

Mine is mostly aluminum and titanium and I tried the bend and break it by jumping my house hitting walls crashing it only thing I've managed to break his the body LOL. Well at least inside upgraded all the parts. Expensive but I never have to worry about it breaking

bazzzla I used motor cross studs that just screw into the knobs .. been running them two winters and haven’t lost one yet

Watched a couple vids of the 84" Apache. Now I'm looking at a truck on the same lake frozen. As someone born and raised in Miami it is strange to see the same lake liquid and solid. Normal for you northern guys but alien to us southern guys. I guess that lake is used for ice skating too?

Nice upgrades,, I think the resale should be higher,, on the market for used Maxx’s doesn’t matter what u do to it people won’t spend more than a grand on it being u can buy a new one for that price,, he had at least 2g on upgrades and unless he finds a sucker he’ll never sell it ,, I hate that. I think if someone puts time and money Into a project it should have a high resale value. If u sink money on upgrades u do it for yourself don’t do it thinking you’ll make a profit.. Never got that. Awesome Maxx and upgrades. I’ve got close to 2g in mine and happy that it’s just mine
