The reason why your cap is in the negative when it doesn’t say it is is because when you sign somebody then trade them right away you have to pay there bonuses for there whole contract so usually the cap hit isn’t worth it

Yes - if u go into team salary u Can see How much trading/cutting a player Will cost u in penalties. It should have a tab with penalty and bonus and then you will just have to minus the penalty with the bonus. Ex. A player with a contract that says 10 mil in bonus but 5 mil in penalty you will earn 5 mil to your salary cap. If it was 5 mil in bonus and 10 mil penalty you would lose 5 mil on your cap hit even though you are trading the player

The Bears don't have a QB, a D-line and/or edge rusher, playmakers at the RB, and any kind of height in the receiving corp. And, let's face it, Fields is every bit as horrible as Trubisky, Rakestraw, Carter, Douglass and any of the other great Bear QBs of yesteryear. We need someone who isn't a twinkletoes or an "athlete"; we need someone who can think, has composure, and can decide in an instant on what to do with the ball after the snap. We haven't had one of those since Jay Cutler.

Im gonna say this: The more the bears tank and choke up games the more they will blame Just Fields and for all these guys that think Fields isnt it you are gonna see if they draft a new QB they will have the same issue because Fields is not their QB. This is why we fire Eberflus and get someone with experience. I would hire Lovie just because the dude can have the locker room on his side and he doesnt hide his reasaon why we lost. yes his defense is outdated and Flus is running the same thing but I never said have him be the HC to call the defense nah. you hire him to help your offense. I want the bears to revert back to 3-4 defense. It fits better for us. This was all on Flus. Fire him. Salvage the season by winning the next 4 games we have.
