This particular race is a mash-up of two Baja races (2WD) that took place on the second day of the event. These two races were awesome to watch, and very challenging to film, but as always - SO MUCH FUN!

This event is sure to quench your insatiable need for Power and Speed! This is the second of several videos that will showcase 1/5th scale size Gas Powered Radio Control Trucks doing what they do best... RACE & BASH! There will be a mix of 2WD and 4WD vehicles that are all customized to each drivers design.
Each competitor has been selected by the RCSparks Studio for their great RC building abilities, driving skill and all-out Good Nature towards promoting an amazing hobby. Each one of these guys are willing to "give it all" to ensure you have an exciting video series to entertain and inspire you. We know you are going to be awestruck by the beauty and sheer power of these micro-trucks. Don't let the "size" of these rigs fool you. Travelling at speeds of up to 50mph, and weighing up to 25lbs, these trucks are brutes! Ever try to drive your vehicle on the street, while you are standing in a building? Same idea..
We had so many amazing people show up, including the RCSparks Secret Mechanic team! With help of 5 camera operators - we captured some GREAT RC footage!
If your looking for fast paced action, gas powered mayhem and a good community you would want to be a part of .. then you are in the right series of film!

Watching your video was a tear jerker for me. My Son and i were R/C racing in the pacific north west Washington State. He was 12 years old when we started it was a great father son hobby when he was growing up.My son passed away in his early thirties.Watching your video brought back lots of wonderful memories of those fun times we had R/C racing. I just wish he was here to see where R/C has come. Thanks

What a great day for running the track, the sun won't dry it out and make it a dustbowl on a grey day like that. This reminds me of when I used to race 1:10 electric 2wd trucks years ago. Ahh memories...

A bridge or a jump at the intersection is what i would do.Possible awesome footage of a car flying over what could have been a costly t-bone.As always awesome vids Medic!

I have been watching you for a few years now. Ya now most KZfaq channels are just made to make you laugh. But your channel not only makes me laugh but it has a way of changing me and it's like this channel has a soul. John is a good driver. I didn't see his lap times as I have to go back and pause the video. Don't quite know how the lap times are listed quite yet till I look again. Looked like the names were across the top and the number of laps was going from under the names down.

you should use your FPV fatshark thingy on your big 5th scales, would be cool to have 'firstperson view' races if thats possible

Medic, keep a look out for a small compact roller. I got a 1,000 lb one for $150 it had a blown 16 hp Onan engine so I put a 10 hp Yanmar diesel on it, I think it was made by Chase. You could add water in the rollers for added weight and the back roller vibrated for better compaction, I used it to pave my driveway, then sold it for $2,400. I didn't want to sell it but he met my asking price lol.

I used to video ice racing with a stepladder in the middle to get a good shot Try videoing from a height like a ladder or scaffold platform , you get more awesome elevated shots besides the drone view

Sounds like the Kraken sheared a clutch bell. I've had that happen to my truck before. The output shaft on the clutch bell is welded to the bell, it's not all one piece. That weld can break easily.

Hi guys great job. You guys have to try an Australian engine builder Rooster Tail engines, the 30.5 full mod is just insane. I know you guys are into OBR and I have an OBR 30.5 full mod and compared to a Rooster Tail engine, OBR does not come close. For ease of starting and tuning and horse power Rooster Tail is a far superior engine. I am just a 1/5 off road racer not conected to Rooster Tail engines but give one a go you will not be disappointed. I really enjoy your 1/5 stuff you put out, great job.Cheers Tom
