Күн бұрынClick to Subscribe! ► bit.ly/JOovvU - Flipped and Upside down.. sometimes you launch too fast off of a snow drift, and the kicker tries to throw you over your handlebars. A skilled driver can throw it into a tail whip - and sometimes you bail. I accept that. I decided to upgrade the sled to a propulsion different system. I have switched over (motor wise), from a large 1/8th scale Tekin T8 1700kv Brushless motor, to a 1/10th scale Pro 4 HD 3500kv Brushless motor. I have also upgraded my battery to a 4s, high output (50c discharge) 3300mah lipo battery.
The difference in power is substantial. I have also upgraded my pinion to a steel pinion (17t), and the gear ratio to the spur is fantastic.

I'm not sure who liked the swap more, you or the sled. It appears to like the changes, definitely a big difference in performance. Good job, keep up making GOOD vids.

u should use your groomer and make some sort of groomer drag for it and make "snowmobile trails". that would be pretty neat! i personally love snow and grooming. i think a nice long trail maye from your house to some sort of snow cross track (made with groomer) would be a nice vid, building the trail and riding it!

ooh that was so cool (pun intended). that 3400 really did pick up the track speed. just a small suggestion for a video if you do see this. I personally would love to see a winter tank battle. just a thought lol. thanks for another great video Medic

great start, much bigger motor and a larger track tread, might want to increase track length a bit for more grip, if you do all these things that sled would be AWESOME

There are so many cool videos on KZfaq about sleds.. but I really think now we will start seeing more of these rigs in the near future. Sweet motor choice. I have 3 Tekin Pro4HD 4300Kv motors. I only run on 2s, and I don't think there is a more powerful motor you can buy for 2s. One is in my Rustler, the other in my SCTE, and the third in my slash

that was me for real a few years ago. alas my body cannot handle that kind of abuse any more. sold all my sleds. That little sled really goes. I had a cheap rc skidoo sled that I used to run around. It was no where near as fast as yours. It was a New Brite. Gad to see you got the bugs worked out of it. I am now into Foam planes, quads and helicopters. i am currently in the process of making skiis for my Apprentice s15. Its a bit too cold to fly it right now. hopefully this weekend its going to be in the 40's.

It would be nice to see a dozen or so racing the full largescale track, the snowmobile really woke up, it is more like the two stroke full scale ones even sounds a bit like it. I would love one of these but no snow for two winters here in the Westcountry in the UK, keep them coming I am stuck in my workshop as it has been raining solidly for four days now, I think I am growing webbed feet. All I can do is polish the polished ones, waiting on parts for three of my largescale, getting ready to sell at least one to get my hands on the new Kraken-RC Vekta 5 1500 class buggy or the Trophy Truck, which is coming out a little later I would like both but I have six truck's and buggies plus a Venom VMX 450VMX so my wife says no more lol also interested in the FID RC which also has the rigid rear axle so they look more scale and this is what I try to do with mine. I am in the process of converting my HPI 5T back to a B and swap the Version 1 Kraken RC Class1 buggy to the TSK-b kit as this is a little lighter and looks more scale, jst waiting on the parcel service to deliver the kit.
