RC ADVENTURES - HUGE Military Presence at RCX - PT 2 - Interview with Taigen Tanks

The Orange Country Fairgrounds was FULL of really neat and unique eye candy. This was Everett and I's first time visiting this expo, and we flew in from Alberta Canada just a few days before to take in the sights!
During our visit we were able to meet with Erik from IMEX & Taigen Tanks! www.taigentanks... EriK did a really good job explaining how the company has taken over the tank game and have been completely re-designing them from the ground up. Now, with more easy access to work on these rigs, and with the re-engineering, moulding and cnc machining that have been going into these models - were were shocked to see the durability and scale aspects of these Radio Controlled rigs. Eric has also been re-designing and re-printing the instruction manuals, to better help the user in operations, and in building. Looks like these RTR's and Kit's are about to become even MORE popular! Sweetness!
Also on display this year were 1/6th sized War Machines! Both Everett and I were shocked and amazed at the immense skill of the builders and artists who make these giant machines come to life.
The owners put on quite a display for the lucky visitors of this event, and we are glad we were able to capture some of their creativity and design to share with the viewers of RC ADVENTURES! Come along, and enjoy the sights RCX had to offer, and take a glimpse beyond into the magical world of War Time RC Machines!

I've got three of these Taigen tanks, and they are incredibly detailed. Heavy too! This is an area of the R/C hobby that pays close attention to scale detail and operation.

This show and the models in it are jaw-dropping amazing. I will have to attend this next time. Thank you so much for the great cinematography allowing us to see and enjoy everything along with you. You're a true legend, Medic, you must have had so much fun being there!

The tan truck is a JLTV (joint light tactical vehicle) and is replacing the humvee. I field tested them in Iraq in 2011. Cool to see a big model of one like that.

my uncle has a huge collection of GI joes and tanks like those... i was lucky enough to get a half track from him along with a 90mm m1a1 for it to haul.. pretty sweet

You should totally get another Taigen tank that shoots airsoft and have a war. The bbs would just riciche off of the metal. Plus, if any paint chips, it would look like it was used in battle! The kv2 is sweet. So is the jag.panzer. Well, I think that's the tank they showed

Love the WW2 tanks, especially when they are done so well. But how about some modern tanks? Or at least move the timetable up to the 1960s-1980s.

+DocWolph Hi From Spearhead Armor Group Yes we have a few of the guys working on that now. Hopefully in six months to a year we will have a few tanks ready. I will try to have them bring them to the show as work progresses.

Nice video, but did any one realize that the FURY M4 is the wrong variant because in the movie it is a Sherman with HVSS suspension and the longer 76.2mm gun with muzzle brake ? These tanks where known as "Easy Eights" with there official name being the M4A3E8.

not just with rc but any sort of business the smaller company's are the best as they don't sell their products they make them to be better than their last ones they go out of their way for the business to make their products the best they can be
