you boys are well on the way to some mega speeds - you are going to need a better chase vehicle. Them tethered car boys are into the 330kph zone and they've been at it for years. You guys are onto a good thing - I wish you well.

@Tom Martin... Thanks for your suggest. Actually we are trying our best, our scale is 1/5 people who reach to 330kph they are working on 1/10 scale. We wish all the best for everyone.

kingofhobbies4uae Do you think it's possible to build a true 2 channel rc that goes 330kp/h? I mean about 1/10 or 1/8 scale. Because i'm wondering if the speed is maybe just too much for a regular suspension

Yeap it's going to be a combination of power, low drag, down force and traction. Theoretically possible - as for scale, something along the lines of a land speed record car, low drag aerodynamics, wheels that won't fall apart at high rpm and stonking amounts of power. And if that doesn't work - go the way of SSC, use a model turbine - those things will do 400 mph or more in the air so 200 mph on the ground is a reasonable ask. Gentlemen, the challenge awaits you.

Damn! Is the real car a Beemer? I did not see him change gears ...was it automatically revving that far into the red line? Wow ...mine does not do that - unless I use the flappy paddles. Anyway ...great run. The RC car is definitely not pretty ...what with that big pipe thing on it but damn it sure gets the job done! Very impressive. I wish there was a fly-by shots. I would have loved to hear the noise it makes at those speeds.
