I spent a literal hour hopelessly working on deriving the voltage as a function of time equation because I'd never had to do this type of problem in the class before, since I'm not even in the calculus-based course. I still don't really understand it, but at least I have the answer. God bless this man.

why i learned that the discharging equation is i(t)=i(∞ )+Δi*e^(-t/τ ) instead of i(t)=i*e^(-t/τ ) and HOW can i prove the equation i(t)=i(∞ )+Δi*e^(-t/τ ) ?
