we'll assume that there is a multi-storey building (four floors) , And that the owner of this building has a desire to expand this building and the addition of three other floors. Accordingly, we used here grout jacketing method to strengthening the columns.

Excellent demonstration - I however suggest that step 1 is to prop all the slabs and beams supported by the column under consideration.

Is the load transferred to foundation??? Its just connected to tie beam at lower parts. similarly it shall be projected to some distance to first floor beam or not? please suggest us. thanking u

Can this method be used to repair concrete columns that were structurally damaged (column failure) as a result of a massive boiler explosion? Please help.
