RC Ships in BIG waves | MEERZEIT Büsum! ⛴
English:
After a long break, we were back in the Wavepool in Buesum! With a bunch of rc Modelships! And it really was a great event! Quite a lot of ships, including the big BUGSIER 19 Tug, carried our cameras... and brought us really spectacular pictures back home....
Whenever possible the Pool and Spa MEERZEIT Büsum allows us to use their Pools to have some great Indoor-Tropical-Sailing Experiences... :-)
Deutsch:
Nach eine großen Pause waren wir endlich wieder im Wellenbad in Büsum! Zusammen mit vielen anderen begeisterten Modellbauern und ihren Modellen wurde es erneut zu einem absolut tollen Event!
Viele Modelle, inkl. des großen BUGSIER 19, trugen unsere Kameras ins Wellenbad und brachten uns spektakuläre Aufnahmen mit an Land!
Wenn möglich, ermöglicht uns das "Wellenbad und Spa MEERZEIT Büsum" die Benutzung Ihrer Pools um ein tolles Winterfahrvergnügen in Tropischen Bedingungen zu haben.... :-) Vielen Danke dafür, wir kommen als Badegäste wieder!

That is absolutely terrifying. Scale model boats are terrifying to look at. The more realistic they are, the more they make me shiver, especially if they sink and you see them underwater

It's interesting how the different hull forms take the water . The whaler seems to be the best . It looks as if how the top of the bow is shaped , pushing the water away from the deck .

Hi Hekili,..thanks a lot! Just start with small selfbuild Models.. and let them get bigger model by model... you could start steering them via small lines.. that's how II started... Best wishes!

Hi Jus, actually through both methods.. mainly I'm in the water filming the models... (it's big fun to move between them, pretending not to be a giant seamonster 🤣),.. but we also do use an remotly operated sub (an ROV) as well as surface-camera-boats as well as different fixed watertight cameras. Hihi.. always a lot of fun getting the footage we want 🌊🚢🎥😉

Hi MrRoiba,.. halb halb... die Rümpfe der Rettungsboote sind aus einer privat aufgelegten Mini-Serie abgeformt... also würde ich sagen Eigenbauten. Ab und zu findest sich einer dieser Rümpfe aber bei eBay... Viel Erfolg also 😉👍

The rest of the year this is a public Wave Pool named "Meerzeit",.. located in the small harbourtown Büsum at the North sea... And yes, it really is a lot of fun!! And we feel very privileged to have the possibility to play there 🌊🛳️🎥🎬😅

Ok, I want to see 3 types of RC ships. 1. Noah’s Ark because I never see one of those used. 2. A WW2 Liberty Ship! And to make it better, have the cargo ships have little snacks that with controllers can open the holds and let people actually get snacks, because it’s a cargo ship after all!! And 3. The Orca from “Jaws”.

Hi... it depends on so many factors... most of the modelboats we film are selfbuild by their owners.. and they tend to be around 1 to 3 t€ .... but it's hard to tell because as they are build in their sparetime bit by bit the costs also are bit by bit...

@@Subwaterfilm Die von Krick. 550cm lange und 16cm breit. Mein erstes, ferngesteuertes Boot. Ich habe es extra mit viel Styropor ausgekleidet, damit es nicht untergehen kann und sich selber aufrichtet. Leider habe ich auch Epoxy verwendet, was mir den Rumpf spröde gemacht hat. Wahrscheinlich kam durch solche Risse dann das Wasser hinein. Ich habe es als Erfahrung genommen und überlege schon an einem neuen Boot mit etwas mehr Platz :) Vielen Dank für deine Rückmeldung.

Wow... ja, dass ist die, die früher von robbe hergestellt wurde..wow. Gut gemacht! ich hoffe, dass die Technik überlebt hat 😉👍
