These are great! They need to get the correct alloy rims on the 4Runner, though. Also, the 4Runner's lift is too high for those wheels, but the wheels and tires are a great size. RC4wd makes a wheel called, "T-Runner Classic 1.9 Beadlock wheel" they're made from billet aluminum, and they're gorgeous and acurate to toyota wheels. You can get a set of 4 from ebay for around $103 without tires.

They did it... Those crazy bastards actually did it! I had been on this since the RC4WD 4Runner hardbody pre-order years ago. Price of a TF2 plus the body and materials to paint it up though kept me away. Now they've put it all together into an RTR, and done up an engine bay, and it's not 800... Dude.

I just ordered a trail finder 2 midnight edition bc it looks just like the first vehicle I ever owned. My dad had bought me a 90 single cab black Toyota Tacoma when I was 15 and I loved that truck unfortunately when I got my license I drove it about 5 months and crashed it totaled it out. So I wanted the trail finder to kinda bring back memories I’m gonna try to make it look identical to my old truck.

I love my TF2. Doesn’t get as much trail time as the better performers, but I adore the looks and enjoy the way it feels so different with the leaf spring suspension.

Toyota made a straight axle extra crab truck for only one year 1985. The Toyota truck in back to the future go look at the axle from that movie. I could be wrong I’ve been wrong before but I believe my friendMarty McFly’s Toyota was an 85

Yes, brand new and with all three leaves in place, those RC4WD springs really are too arched unless you want to run oversize tyres... If you remove the helper leaves and just run the single main spring (and take the internal springs out of the dampers too if they are fitted) then the suspension sags/droops far more realistically, and also beds-in with use/time too. Alternatively you could also mount the leaf-springs under the axles using U bolts, but you would start to limit clearance under the axles then.

I off-road in my Full Scale 3rd gen T4R and have a few buddies with 1st Gens. This is Scaled. The wheels are not "Too high" I believe you mean the lift is high. The scale model looks to be showing as if the real deal had a 4" Lift. The wheels are actually undersized. These wheels if were on the real deal would be 265 70 r15. I might go bigger tires on my RC car but i love how they are branded Wild Peaks. Which are pretty good Tires in real life off-roading.

No pre-installed lights? Single-speed transmission?, for $570? Screw that! And that ugly yellow color, yuck. It should be shiny black, with yellow, orange to red strobes stripes. And I would have to change it to 2.2 tire and Wheel combo. With an aggressive tread, and chrome beadlocks. For that much money I might as well get the Traxxas TRX4 High Trail Edition pickup in red. Much better, much nicer looking truck.
