Better video of this mod than others I've seen. Great work. You probably already know this one but you can get more travel in the front with the Galande II shock hoops.

Excellent job Anthony, very well done brother, just a little fyi,I have my steering servo installed from the bottom up,and attached too the bottom of the cross members, with fat headed m3 servo screws, with lock nuts on the top half,it shouldn't effect the suspension travel,or articulation, even with the stock ride hight, and it eliminates the need for a spacer on the servo horn, That whole setup works pretty well, and if you decide too lift the suspension at a later date, the servo location will easily accommodate it, Excellent job with the video once again, you will definitely like the new motor location, it makes a big difference when going down steep desents, Big thumbs up on the body mounts as well :)

RC After Dark I’m thinking about doing the same thing I added shims but it still hits 😡lol

Triple X RC Garage, you are totally correct, I did the motor & servo drop,on day one when I built my tf2, but I forgot, that I also added Terra flex revolvers, front&rear, and also terra flex z-boxes on the rear, I didn't give it a actual suspension lift, until a couple of months after building it, moral of the story :) I think the revolvers on the front, helped with the axle clearing the servo upon articulation, my bad on the poor info,I did most of that work, before I had a KZfaq channel, and I have a poor memory lol

Great video!!!! I am in the process of doing this too, it really has helped to see how you cut the motor mount!!!

DargoDog Hey thanks for watching. Yea its nerve racking when your cutting lol

Just got done with this mod. It is a lot easier to do if you gut the front of the truck forward of the transmission. Also, instead of reusing that mount on the motor side, just use a nylock nut in its place.

Nice job! Always thought about doing this but can’t bring myself to cut all the parts up. How do you like those tires? I’d love to get a set.

Ethan Boening I really like pitbull tires and the Braven ironsides have been pretty awesome tires.

Great video, I really want a rc4wd truck, as I love the scale factor. Are these trucks as bad to strip hardware as it seems everyone says? I'm an auto technician by trade, so it's not a situation I can't remedy, but I'd like to know what I'm getting into before I drop 5 Benjamins on one of these. I ask you because I trust you.

DO NOT BUY DIRECTLY FROM BOWHOUSE. Pay the extra money and get it from shapeways. You won't be sorry. Bowhouse in house prints are complete trash. I had a skid plate come apart like an accordion, layer by layer essentially.

I haven’t had a problem yet but they changed theres to a molded not 3-D. I bought a new battery tray and it was molded plastic not 3-D anymore.
