Tacon Big Foot 15 Brushless OutRunner non-sensored. This motor is a 950KV. 11-tooth 5mm pinion, 32 pitch, with motor-drop conversion, on 4s lipo, Helical cut gears, Punisher Shafts and XVD's. ESC is Holmes Hobbies Trailmaster BLE Pro.
For $30 you can't beat the price on this Tacon Big Foot 15 Brushless Out Runner Motor motor.
I got this time from Greg....AKA Ducky....check out his page...Rubberduck213.

I use the Bigfoot 10 1100kv. plenty of power on 3s and a lil shorter. best budget drop in for a 540 based crawler/trailrig

It's an awesome motor. Have noticed it gets really warm in hot weather? I think it's because of the extremely strong magnets. Holmes-Hobbies Revolver which is specifically made for crawler has different magnets and doesn’t get near as hot but even tho its freakishly torquay...it's not quite as torquay as the Tacon motor.

killer deal for $30. that 15 turn should have you climbing walls.

Hey Jmy. Not sure what the turn is. It has 14 magnets and 12 stators. 950KV motor. That's not an unusual price for an airplane motor. You'll need to look for the size and the kv you want along with the output shaft on the right side and the mounting holes gotta be 25mm...that's the standard rc size. A good quality esc makes a huge difference in start-up control. My Holmes Hobbies Trailmaster BLE Pro esc works way , way better than the Castle Sidewinder esc that I have and tried.

+Madeline Lucas i was thinking that since theres a number after the name the 15 meant the number of turns associated w/that motor. i certainly could be mistaken.

+Jmy Lawson The motor number and kv are not related. Specs on the Big Foot 10 is ....dimensions 35mm×42mm 1100kv. Big Foot 15....35mm×48mm 950kv. They're both fit for rc truck use with the shaft on the right side and the mounting hole spacing at 25mm. Tom

HobbyPartz actually has the Tacon Big Foot outrunner motors back in stock. Imagine that! haha... I ordered two Big Foot 10's earlier this morning. Happy Friday!

RC Dabbler me too. I ordered two Tacon 10's and two 15's as soon as I got the "back in stock" notification. The 10 works better with the 2-speed. If your run'n the single speed...you'll want a 750kv to about a 950kv. Anything higher on a Trailfinder and your low-end control might suffer depending on tire size and pinion.

Does it crawl great? Does it becomes hot?

It was never meant to be a crawler motor and was designed to be a Helicopter motor with continuous airflow to it. The magnets are most likely stronger than an outrunner designed for actual RC Crawlers. That being said...it does run hotter than a Revolver that was designed for trail rigs. But not hot enough to destroy the magnets. I ran them for years...at least 4 years before Holmes-Hobbies started releasing the Revolver again. It's extremely smooth on the rocks using a BLE Pro esc set to Dithered mode, Mamba X, Sidewinder 4. About 12-15 years ago guys would use a outrunner copter motor in their crawlers using an esc that was quite and smooth but that esc it long gone...bought-up and absorbed into the military makes you wonder why the military would need a super quiet ESC that could run drone and helicopter motors.
