Randy's DIY they will be delivered next week... it’s the first ones you showed... everything was fine with my scale until I purchased another one and started getting different readings.. I’ve tried coins with no success they all weigh different

Great video Randy. I already have the same check weight set but I'm using a Lee perfect scale. The Lee is a pain to set up for different grains of powder. I wanted some info on how the RCBS scale worked before I ordered one. Thanks to your video, I'm ordering one today.

If it is slightly high a 5 grains after adding the 1 grain weight, but is dead on when weighing the 5 grain weight, then the 1 grain weight is slightly heavy.

First thing you should do is check the X&Y flatness of your table with a precision level, and make certain it is stable.

They must have changed the manual. My manual with this scale says the upper and lower points are +-.5-.7 grains.

Good review Randy - Although the M500 is made in China I have found very little problem with them. Two weak points:- It's too light, easily remedied by sticking a few old bullets in the base with a glue gun and because the beam is printed on both sides it does necessarily mean the zero pointer is 1/4" away from the beam, this can lead to parallax errors unless it is viewed from exactly the same angle every time. Again easily fixed by using a cheap USB camera to view the pointer. As I use here in my M500 video. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Z7R-fKZjttSZYIk.html

Would you recommend this scale or a digital scale? I am just starting reloading and need to buy a scale.

I would recommend this scale not sure what video you watched One of them I was having trouble with the scale matching what the weights were but it was the weights that were actually off not the scale so yeah I think the scale is fine

@@randysdiy2102 Thanks. I wasn't referring to one of your videos for the digital, just asking in general. Digital looks great until you read every digital scale review and not one is consistent with good reviews. Many bad reviews. Whereas this scale seems to have great reviews on every online store I can find. Your scale is the winner for me! Thanks!

I don't have any experience with the digital scales I never have tried one.
