Disagree. EVOX 12 is a super strong work horse. Build quality is very much higher. After buying them for myself, as a mobile DJ, they are now the go to speaker for rental for house parties and small conferences. Also, the bass unit, with one one of our NEXO PS-15s is an awesome DJ Monitor. We also sometimes put the Line Array units mounted onto the Front of the DJ Desk and place the sub units where they need to be. From an aesthetic perspective, all comment on their looks and we’ve never had any complaints whatsoever. There are always going to be new and updated speakers from competitors, and the Evolve 50s are great, but remember who forced the competition to move in that direction away from the double box standard…. EVOX. 12 or J8 broke the mould. From a build quality, none that you mention are as strong as the EVOX. If used under your own use, either are fine. But in a rental situation, over 3 years, none of our 3 sets have broken down or had any form of construction failure - this includes many situations where they are collected from our warehouse, used unseen and returned. Finally, in my personal opinion, I prefer the warmth of the RCF sub to almost any other. Let’s see what RCF do in their next iteration, with the benefit of 3 years looking at their own and other’s offerings… we will buy it I am sure.

I personally prefer the RCF Evox 12 bang per buck. Besides I cannot stand the clip in design where you can't position the top speaker. You would have to move the entire unit. Also the ability to raise the top speaker on the Evox 12 pole so that you get a much better throw above the crowd is far better then those lazy fixed click n' play tops. I think the Evox 12 is still the big winner and was ahead of it's time.

So I agree with you. I wanted to upgrade my 735a and looked at rcf hdm 45a. Sadly non in stock anywhere. I did manage to find after some time the evox 12 system. The feedback I have had from clients has been amazing!. I would still look at the hdm 45a over the evox but I am very happy with the purchase. Shame covid messed up the ability to obtain high end speakers that said my new evox system is a great product at a great price when you consider that it is a subwoofer and top.

I'll take the Evox 12 over the evolve 50. Flimsy plastic set speaker that you have to set up on a stack of books just to get the top sound over the crowd 🤣. Turn the entire speaker since you can't simply raise and turn the tops like you can the Evox 12. One just feels professional the other feels a bit flimsy. But can you give me your opinion db technologies vs the Evox? Thank you and One love .

The only negitive about the ev evolve 50 is after about a hour they start to sound muddy and clip quickly almost like it can’t keep up.

I prefer the sound of the EVOX 12, compared to the RCF 745 MK2

EVOX 12 is a class act, sounds amazing. I'm considering adding an EVOX sub. I use a Driverack PA to fine tune my sound and control feedback, etc.

The RCF 9 series are a game changer ,they will go harder for longer without loss of quality

Do you really think the es1203 has better bass? I found it to drop off quickly in comparison, the evox 12 definitely hits lower notes.

Je ne suis pas d'accord avec vous. Je préfère mon système evox 12 rcf. Déjà par sa qualité de fabrication made in italy, toujours une qualité sans compromis. Ensuite il va à l'essentiel sans trifouiller tout les boutons, et il le fait bien. Le trolley est un peu certes pour un poids plus lourds mais modulable avec ses deux roulettes intégrés. Si j'avais un points de comparaison, cela sera le dsp dynamique manquant et l'anti larsen plus frileux que sur Ev. Un câble pour relier la colonne c'est vrai mais au moins je me suis dis que c'est plus fiable dans le temps que l emboîtant intégré de EV. Sans aucun regret pour mon achat Evox 12

Hey man really enjoy your videos on the latest DJ Gear. I a solo mobile DJ looking at buying a subwoofer either a dual 12inch or single 15inch. Any suggestions you can give ? It needs to be light 25-30kg and pack a serious punch. Iv short listed RCF SUB 705 as ii or the 905 as ii would appreciate if you have any recommendations for a good 15inch sub.

I just got my Bose pro 32 but not the subs. Then you gave me this idea why not pair it with db sub. Or should I just return the Bose and get the Db?

Finally the es1203 take the crown. It's the loudest, it can't go below 50hz BUT man, it's 60-100 Hz is strong! You can change FIR FILTERS via firmware, 10% more power. It's also the cheapest of all 12"column speakers. One of the major benefits is to split the column and have better dispersion outdoor for a larger event. To reproduce the same bass response other system need an external Subwoofer. Can you compare with prx one?

I'm looking for an column array system for small to large weddings. My primary concerns is portability and coverage. I am seriously considering the Evox 12 or the Bose L116 Pro. After this video i've ruled out the Evox 12s, but am now interested n the Db es 1203. What do you reccomend?

Maybe the interest is because a few high profile DJs made recent videos calling the EV50 trash and others recommending the RCF Evox 12s. I personally think the Evox 12 is over priced.
