Wow! Even more epic than the last one! The 4wd and 4s makes a big difference! Congrats. Looks fun, except for the long walk in the sand to flip it back over!😅lol

My slash 4x4 is stock on 3s and my esc overheats with slingshot tires on the sand. I must need to go down a tooth or 2 on the pinion, or up on the other gear.

@@darrylsjodin7184 yeah I had some heat issues with the Vxl3s in my slash 4x4 too….2wd slash I haven’t had any issues….gearing down probably wouldn’t be a bad idea

Yes, true. I made a mod that didn’t help with cooling. The front tires throw everything into the chassis, so I made some deflectors out of glad ware plastic containers and riveted it onto the vertical part of the chassis behind the front wheels to reach up to the body and around corner and down the sides a bit to keep out the debris. Worked good.

Epic video mate 👍👍👍 I’ve ended up with so many shredded parts due to sand but I always go back to the dust as imo it’s the most fun terrain to blast on 👍👍👍💪

Come try Silver Lake..! 2WD VXL is fun, 4WD seems to fly better, gotta get one now..!

Yeah I’ve been to Silver Lake….filmed a video there actually…..yeah the 4wd has better control in the air…..you can actually bring the front up with throttle unlike the 2wd….which is at the mercy of however it launches lol

I need to find some sand doors close to me. I live not too far from pyramid lake so i know they have a few beaches then I know an are that's made of Gipson that would be a blast to bash in.

What are you motor temps and what kind of speed are you getting with the 4s?

Not sure of the exact temps….it seems to stay cool aside from in the sand it’s hit limp mode before…..but it goes about 60mph with the gearing I’ve got
