In our town we have been building a construction site using RCs for over a year now. The town councel allowed the use of 3 lots that was cleared. At least 10 dump truck loads of soil were brought in. The only rule is everything must be moved by RCs. One guy even built a tunnel boring RC. A lake is being dug out. People come out in the evenings drinking coffee or cider and watch for hours as all ages play. This has really brought our community back together.

So I start to watch this thinking, how silly, then I watched the whole thing and want to see more.

It's truly amazing that you could bring an RC world to a real life situation and complete it flawlessly. Amazing video!

Building a road Part 2.

To make it 100% accurate to real life, you need to add models of men wearing hi-vis standing around doing nothing.

This is honestly the coolest thing ever, it's an actual playground for adults.

This has potential to be a great hands on training and tutorial of how to build a road for new construction heavy equipment operators :-) This is strangely relaxing and entertaining to watch

I used to feed a ball mill 3000 tonne a day on a gold mine operating a Cat 966 and 980 FEL, build roads etc and this Rc gear is second to none good work!

I was half expecting to see mini surveyors with GPS units giving benchmarks and setting corners. haha. This was an awesome random find!

I think it's human nature to want to build things, this is so relaxing, seeing someone else do all the work!

This is a child's dream come absolutely amazingly true.

Started with how to wire breaker box, now I'm here!

This is awesome…except for leaving out the one very realistic portion that makes it all spring to life…..while the 5 new guys are driving trucks and doing work, there needs to be 30 guys with a shovel in one hand lined up along the side of the street doing nothing but talking or eating lunch. ;-)
