Appreciate the insight. What RDA really needs is more flexible cards like bone archfiend that could theoretically take on a tuner or non tuner roll. The reason synchro feels power crept is the specific need of needing both tuner/non tuner for the main gameplan which is why it’s overshadowed by links. There are other engines like centurion but I’m hoping we can still have a very pure and tight engine in the future so it doesn’t turn into a pile deck.

I've been testing Red Lotus King on my RDA, and it's kinda sad that i didn't even needed it on every single duel i had. On every route, there was always a better card to add with Soul rather than RLK, even Wildwind covers more situations than RLK. So for now, this card is not needed on the RDA. On the other hand, the card is mechanicaly good. The fact it can mill a trap means that the cards has potential. But it's not its time yet. But yeah, RDA needs a card as good as Soul or Bone. Keep up with this content! It's so good to have your insights, since you are one of the very few RDA players who understands the deck ❤️

First off I can’t wait to see what you have in store for the resonator community. You’ve done a lot of good work making the deck more accessible to those looking to play it to win. Quick question, what are your thoughts on the shining dragon package? I’ve been swamped by other RDA players insisting that it’s a reliable calamity lock or cheater for supernova, but I’m not convinced. You’d need to ensure a synchro dragon is in the grave to revive while having the unsearchable dragon in hand. I don’t buy it but maybe I’m not seeing something.

Ive been gathering the cards for a SinfulRDA list. Original Sinful can fetch Red Nova, which in turn can fetch Lotus King.

i tested the card and I agree with your opinion, the card ins't a extender and no see much utility in your main strategy one copy is enough and black goat is better option, for my part I play a version of 45 cards RDA with Bystials and the results are incredibles

What do you think about the Centur-Ion engine ? It gives more non tuner and tuner access to combo past handtraps and a strong wincondition with the Turn Skip. Of course it takes some space so you probably want to go over 40 with it. Also any thought on the Earthbound Immortal Red Nova recently announced ? Keep up the good work !

Io sono tornato a giocare a Yugi da circa 4/5 mesi, e da allora ho solo un mazzo: RED DRAGON Archfiend, sono partito con il 3x dello structure e ora (anche grazie a tutti i video che ci sono su KZfaq (penso di aver visto tipo tutte le combo e profile esistenti)), penso di conoscere questo mazzo veramente bene, ma ho solo un obbiettivo in testa: trovare l'equilibrio giusto per renderlo meta. Questo nuovo loto rosso, può essere buono giocarlo in 1x massimo 2, ma a prescindere la sua meccanica ha senso solo se ce l'hai già in mano e soul resonator viene annullato (ovviamente se in mano ho prosperity o bone, il loto diventa inutile). Ho pensato a usare il shining star insieme ad un pacchetto improvvisato di 3x lubellion 1x magna e 1x chaos space, per avere accesso ad esso, ma comporta troppi slot occupati ed eventuali brick. Sto testando una profile che ho creato con 2x di loto rosso, 1x di wildwind, e una tech che per ora sembra funzionare in modo egregio quando vengo fermato su red rising e non ho extender: Skill drain; sembra funzionare grazie al solo bone, altrimenti crea un gamestate veramente lento e inutile, motivo per il quale ho aggiunto anche droplet. Riesco comunque a trovare spazio per le ht, per il supay pack e anche per crossout e prosperity. Io confido tanto in delle nuove tech stile bone archfiend, ma direi che dal momento che è uscito red lotus, non ne vedremo per un po. Che ne pensi tu ?

I tried playing the Red Lotus King, I didn't replace Wandering King though. Just played 1 more card in the deck to dilute the engine requirement. I'm glad I didn't replace the Wandering King. It may be a bad card for sure (wish it could add a resonator in the same turn it went to the GY), but its level came clutch with Uvualoop. Never actually had the need for the Red Lotus King but it looks like a cool yet unnecessary addition for the deck if you build towards it a little bit. The idea of playing 1-2 The Black Goat Laughs alongside Droplets, the X copies of Bone Archfiend and Red Lotus King is great. I've been wanting to play a boardbreak version of the deck for a bit with Droplets and Enemy Controller, and this card seems like the perfect fit. Just run the Red Reign in the side deck for going first if you want to play it and you're basically set. We should remember btw that Konami didn't forget about this deck. Those cards may be between terrible and barely playable, but they released something like 4 cards for this deck past the Structure. Red Lotus King, that huge Earthbound Immortal, an actually worse Red Lotus King that is apparently also a Fire King and an equip spell from the anime. More cards if we take the Earthbound Immortals in account as well. Maybe we can see direct support in 3 main booster packs (Rise of the Abyss after INFO, then there's probably a GX-themed main booster pack after ROTA, at that point we can expect a 5D's or even Arc-V themed expansion and Jack Atlas is in both of them)

Supay is good but it feels so bad having to ditch 2 cards for bone and supay sometimes 😢. Is it worth to ditch a ht for supay into a hot red? It's the same interrupts you give up hand knowledge. If only lotus was a resonator monster, it'd be so much better. Amazing video, thank you for the insights.

I do only play master duel so my opinion might be different what crime has over bone is its a true one card combo leaving you with more cards in hand to play with and with all the searchers we have its not unlikely that we will have vision access if red rising get negated leaving us with 2 interactions a red zone pop and a blowout in red reign while if u did the bone line and red rising gets negated u have to discard and even if you and extender u end on one interruption and less cards in hand

I Thought red Lotus was good. I have my rda deck only handtraps are 3 effect , 3 cosmic and proxing dispater (i should get hantraps but shipomg is expensive and long ) , i bought valarant smashers box , i got 3 standup , 1 oak centirion ,the lvl 8 centirion and foolish foe RDA,i won i giveaway the centirion gergoil (the lvl 12 that is generik in legasy of destruction), in locals i got the lvl7 syncro from phantom of yubel😅 , by trading like mementos and oder stuff , should i get :bystials(monsters and spel/trap) , try to coplete centirion (crimsong dragon + balzer + sycro centirion + the 2 monsters +2 oak but i can bild buget but still i dont have and they are expensive), Labyrinth, build, handraps , or just go pure RDA, love the chanel i know i need a lot of cards but it is expensive for me like RO2 is 200 € EU box bc my shop pays shit ton of tax so it need to be profitable ,i got my 3SD,1 valarnt on Vacation. Love the RDA videos here is a sub❤ and i have been watching rev (he statet RDA on buget like 15 ep , but he got 30 £ week ly buget and thats is a lotof money so i probably got a 100 -150€ and shiping time is long .

i want to like the support in form Red Lotus King , because i want to like the acces to a trap card, but through testing , most of the time the trap is not need to win or is not enought too win . . . i´m sad about it, because Red Lotus dosen´t fix any issue the deck has, but i think i can cut Whirlwind to play it with the Banish all Trap form the RDA Archtyp ^^ because i like this interaction , because it is one more in Archtype interaction . . . hope konami will give this deck more needful support. . . in short words i come to the same idea, as you in your vid ^^

I felt like the card is decent and I did see some replays where it put in much work. That being said... You just seem like an expert on the deck, no joke. Now I have to rethink my list and I'm sad that this fun card isn't all that great, but compliments to you for this great video

ciao! mi sto ispirando molto alle tue profile e a i tuoi consigli per la decklist, cosa ne pensi riguardo il nuovo drago “shining star dragon”, avendo red rising al cimi e un resonator lv2 in campo permette di fare calamity lock che è una win condition in più, sto sperimentando una versione con i bystial per giocare anche questo drago, 3 lub e un magna che searcha appunto il drago e poi la branded regained, il problema è che si perdono slot per ht e devo ancora capire i ratei giusti per la consistenza, cosa ne pensi?

Bone Archfiend is so powerful as a non-tuner that anything we get will pale in comparison. However, this can open up RDA Labrynth possibilities.

I love the detail here, although I disagree on a few points. 2-Card Combos in the deck actually are more resilient with Flame Crime.. But only if you are willing to compromise on the end board. Abyss + Red Reign is actually very respectable though if you pair it with 2-3 hand traps. And flame crime insulates the 2 card combos better which makes building the deck for that purpose much more realistic. Just have to sequence differently. Start with Soul + Non Tuner, then search the other non tuner (Bone or Flame Crime). If they handtrap Soul, just play with what you have. Otherwise, go for Flame Crime lines. You can now chain block the Flame Crime, and even if they stop Red Rising, you just summon Bone, dump Vision to +1 Level on Red Rising. Then grab gaia then vision then make Abyss + Red Reign. Your build is very lacking in non-engine, and you would have to change that. But this approach means if they ever let Soul resolve, any 2 card combo will guarantee Red Reign and either Abyss or Scarred with Red Zone.
