Күн бұрынTranslated the new version of Megabæt, Gígabæt (Goggi upgraded!). Mostly for comparison purposes. I think he´s less of an obvious shut-in in this version. Don´t worry, I haven´t given up on Áfram or Glanni Glæpur, just felt like doing this.
Translation notes:
Sný actually means "turn", but there´s nothing on my computer that I´d turn. Or flip, actually... Push the button would´ve been better... heh.
"smeykur" means fearful, but I don´t think english would use it for a location (hvergi- nowhere) so I went with scary.
kunnáttan er slík- would be more "the knowledge is such", but "it´s well-known" sounds better

Candi The Wild Pig I personally like each of them about as much. I think they could both work quite well, maybe one following the other.

The voice actor for Pixel sings just like the actor for Pixel/Goggi in Glanni Glaepur in Lazytown.

Actually, PIxel's voice actor in the TV show is Ronald Binion... but, that's for the English one; for Iceland, it's Rúnar Freyr Gíslason.

I think it sounds like the actor that plays Pixel in the Icelandic dub of LazyTown is the same actor that was Pixel in Glanni Glæpur í Latabæ.

Wait , I wouldn't be caught dead watching a full episodes as a teenager ,but judging by the subtitles...Microsoft and Apple exist in LazyTown? Though admiralty I guessed they changed it in the English Dub for copyright reasons

If you look closely at the monitor in the episode where sportacus loses his memory and pixels computer break, during the scene where he repairs his Pc, you can see that he is running a LINUX distro, specifically Debian

I wrote out the actual lyrics so I could have a laugh at the google translation. Here they are btw: Tölvuheimum í, er lifið leikur! Ég tölvu tökkum sný, er hvergi smeykur! Já, kunnát tan er slik, að ég er tölvufrik! Gefðmu mér CD, og Gíga DVD! Eitthvað með snúru í! Mér líður vel á PC eða Makka, með tölvum ég fer, ég ýti bara á takka! The English version was based on the Icelandic version from the play. This version has pretty similar lyrics to the original, but they changed some parts to match the puppet's mouth movements.
