Do Boy's Garage I wouldn't recommend a basemap to use, I would get an etune from a reputable tuner and tell him your mods, the tuner will send you a basemap to start with setup for those injectors

The map I uploaded was the first revision from vitviper (my tuner) to start the etuning process

David Munoz you can use the rdx injectors with stock setups. But you will get a CEL if you don't tune it because you will be running very rich from all the extra fuel/bigger spray pattern.

They are different connectors

If you cpuld look up the calibrations for the desired RDX year in sure that would would just as well, that's just my guess tho

@@arifleming9701 I’m having problems rn with my 08 si I was thinking I needed new injectors cuz it’s letting off white smoke but I’m running the 410cc injectors on a base mat rn with no tune, you think I should just go back to the 310cc I have no flashpro till my next pay cheque 😭😭😭

mine started much quicker with the rdx than stock actually, it's all in the tune

you need a tune with any change of injectors

Any RDX ones should work.

You need a tune. They are a larger size. Stock Ecu will have no idea about the size change

I cant say for sure, I just uploaded a basemap for the RDX injectors sent to me from vit. I assume the fuel tables are changed as well as changing the injector size. I am not 100% on that though

lol im using that map too on my 520 there working somewhat ritch at 12.9 af the map that i have on it are for the 410cc and there ment to get 13.5 so it running rich but its moving until next week ima get vitaliy to tune it for me and did you feel any difference with the rdx injectors or no cuz my stock injectors were on 93% duty so it wasn't maxed out but very close to idk if i should get this 520 tuned with the car or have the stock ones on it and get that tuned then when i get the 520s flow matched then put it in the car cuz it doesn't feel like it running right i think one of them is too much and the other is too lil idk its not a steady idle it goes up to 23 AF ratio

C Styles I only ran these for 3 months before I put 1000CC in for my supercharged setup I currently am still running to this day . These ran great with a good tune, I assume you are tuned for them right ?

I just ordered everything lastnight I plan on running e85 and I'm gonna need to get an etune so I can get it to they dyno to be tuned better. I just wanted to see how they were for a daily driver. Reliably is my concern lol

Also I'm planning on running cams and a built head next spring so I wanna get the fuel system upgraded

C Styles the injectors themselves will be no problem, your cars furl gauge will stop working in about a week with e85 and the gains In an all motor setup are minimal, not worth it for how much money it's gonna cost + destroying the sending unit in the tank

If your stock injectors are getting 95%+ duty cycle id recommend em, if not there not really worth it, i really should have cams on my setup to utilize them

@@Runescape. going to take a guess and say he usually ran the ivtec 2.0 plastic fuel rail cover thingy, which covers up that entire back half of the manifold where it’s not polished

You need FP and a custom tune. FP should be your first mod on an Si, either Get FP and start modding, or leave it stock.

@@IsaacPoopsAlot its only done when your stock injectors run out of capacity for the amount of air your engine can flow. Generally the stock injectors are fine for these engines unless you start putting in aftermarket Cams.

@@TheMasterchief156 in theory they are suppose to help with a better spray pattern. However I was tuned on stock injectors and was at 90% duty cycle and ran a 13.9 @ 101mph. When i got tuned on the RDX injectors I was at around 70% duty cycle and ran 13.87 @ 100.6 Mph. Being the trap speed was nearly identical it wasnt worth the money for the conversion and new tune. I went back to stock injectors after my supercharger setup for a year until i sold the car. Id say you only need the RDX injectors if you are full bolt ons and then add Cams.

@@NAUS2K I just read this right now bro honestly thank you bro I really needed that advice because I’m sitting trying to save money to buy new injectors because I didn’t want to clean my OEM ones but maybe I don’t have to do that. Honestly this is my first time dealing with running but since you told me this I will use my OEM ones and just call it a day and only buy the o-rings

@@NAUS2K but like I said I’m trying to hit 220hp I already have a 3inch full race cat back coming , I already have on my PLM long tube headers v2, hybrid racing 3.5 cold air intake and that’s pretty much it. And obv new fuel rail
