Lilith, the Goddess whose image was purposefully suppressed. Immortal in her powerful myth she gave birth to her Daughters, Serpent Goddesses of every culture and civilization. Though the primordial influence of the Serpent Goddesses was once widespread they now, in our time, remained mostly unfamiliar to many. They don’t stand alongside the well-known myths of Venus or Diana. Their images are scarce with sometimes pieced-together legends, yet they hold us in awe whenever we choose to encounter them. As with Lilith, they are no longer hidden or lost from our view, but are making a resurgence.
