What i meant is.. it is in no way a comparision btwn a 650cc and 400cc bike with varried price range and different segments altogether.. Take it positively... Thanks

I'd go with Dominar as its a bike that can be used easily in city as well as tours.. it gets every possible tech for a bike of this segment at a price considerably less than Interceptor.. Interceptor is a lifestyle vehicle. Good only for weekend rides. Moreover, we don't know how reliable is Interceptor in long term.. Dominar has proved its metal already

I test rode both the Interceptor 650 and the dominar 400 2019. Both are good bikes, but ultimately I booked the Dominar 400. Brand image/Macho image aside, its just the better bike. Its lighter, faster and turns/brakes better. And for the price its way better value for money. The new exhaust sound on the Dominar is a dream come true. With a savings of around 50-60k over the Interceptor 650, i went for a world class helmet like Caberg Duke II(19k) and full riding gear like jackets, gloves,guards etc. Still got 25k left for a tour/trip. Spend your money wisely guys.......unless ur rich, then u can buy whatever u want :)

Also regarding the bike delivery, I booked on the launch day and I got my bike in hand today. So the February, march thing told by sales person are only the maximum date because it's better to surprise you with good news than to disappoint you with bad news. I was told I will get my bike in February only but got it on December first week itself.

So the verdict? I'd still go with Dominar despite the displacement and power. Much lesser price and all the modern technology that a youth would want. Dominar is still a bargain.

Is it a feasible machine interms of maintenance and mileage for daily commute and occasional long ride ..I was thinking to buy one and the final list includes dominor Himalayan mojo thunderbird 350x and duke 200 /250 ..liked the BMW 310 but out of class due to his heavy price point...pretty confused ..is it worth buying 650 paying a higher premium of 1 lac and adjusting a lower mileage from above mentioned list..considering the quality of 650.. whether 650 satisfies desire for higher upgradation

You forgot to mention about Vibrations. Dominar is full of vibrations. Riding at speeds of 120-130 kph, Dominar will give you a lot of vibrations. On the other hand, Interceptor will be very smooth at speeds of 120-130 kph since it is a twin-cylinder engine.

I think vibration on Dominar reduces with time, after the third service it too become smooth & vibration is negligible.

@@shoaibkolkata yep..you are right..earlier when my bike was new like 4000km old, i used to feel vibrations from 4.5k-5k rpm..but now i have almost ridden 10000km and now my bike is almost smooth..there are no vibrations which i used to feel before when my bike was new.. I have 2018 red dominar 400.and i am very much happy with bike.😊😊😊😊

Bulu bhai I’m a big fan of yours and also an interceptor owner. Let me assure you what you said about pillion comfort needs to be revisited...koi pillion rider comfortable nahi hai is bike pe...reason being the high rise foot peg leading to an awkward knee angle. But what you said in the end is true....it brings a smile every time i ride :)

On which bike should I put my hard earned money in which the manufacturer gives me 1) Very Comfortable Seat and seating Posture 2) Very comfortable Suspension 3) Decent Power, Torque, Average which is at par with competition of similar segment 4) Safety with Dual Channel ABS 5) Very good tyres tubeless with good grip on roads during all seasons. 6) Liquid Cool FI Engine with No Vibrations 7) Slipper Clutch 8) Looks and Features would be only an added advantage Does such bike Exists in 250 and above cc and at what price budget

dominar is best bike in terms of quality performance styling durability and its advantage of liquid cooling and its digital console like any smartphone style and its 2018 version has very minimum vibration and its perimeter frame makes the bike handling so much good and give confident at high speed and its so stable at high speed

Liked your explanation. Subscribed your channel. Still stuck with same question. Should I buy Interceptor or Dominar. Please answer sir. 1. Will use 80% for city commute and rest highways. 2. I love the power of Interceptor but I worry if it will be pocket friendly in city ride. Daily commute of around 40km on Interceptor means 2 litre petrol plus the weight and heat. Please help

Spot on, Bulu Bhai! Your choice of subject focuses exactly on how many people like me have thought before finalizing on Interceptor. I have often thought whether it's worth paying 3 lack on Interceptor, or I can have almost similar "experience" with a bike (dominar) costing 80 to 90 thousand less. (It's not a theoretical question of "cc"s, its a practical question of "practical decision") And, your way of clarification derives from your experience which is, at least for me, very authentic. Added to it is the charm of your presentation which owes to your spontaneity of expression, contributing a sense of casual conversation. Fine, bro...

भाई, एक सवाल है मेरे मन मे? मै हाल ही मे .... मतलब २० अप्रेल से १० दिन के सफर पर गया था। ( मुंबई > हैदराबाद>तिरूपती>पंजिम>मुंबई ) कुछ २७०० कि•मी के अस पास। अब, मै की गरमी मै सोलापूर > हैदराबाद वाला ईलाका ४०°c की गरमी मै । मेरी मोटरसायकल को 'ऑईल कुल्ड ' ईजन हो के बावजूद हर २ घंटे के दोड पर कमस कम १५ से २० मिनट का आराम लेना पडा था (वह भी ८० की रफ्तार पर भगाते हुए)। तो सवाल यह है की----- क्या RE का ऑईल कुल्ड ईजन बैतर हो गा उस गर्मी मे या 'बजाज डॅमिनार ' का कुलंट वाला लिक्विड कुल्ड ? जहा है कम से कम समै की रुकावट ले सकू ओर ज्यादा अंतर पार कर सकू।?

Ballu, i need a bike to tour on Highway and also be able to use it on not so good roads this. I should be able to fix touring baggage on it. I need a bike that can give me little problems and costs w.r.t spares etc etc. Which one do u suggest dominar or interceptor?

Can the local puncture walla can remove the puncture of the interceptor as i have heard due to ABS and dual exhausts its not possible for the local puncture walla to fix the tire puncture

It won’t matter. U can get puncture resolved but, make sure your ABS ring & ABS sensor has proper gap( atleast a coin shud pass) before you actually get riding again.

tall riders ke liye bilkul bhi sahi nhi hai interceptor because of its sitting posture. Lagta aisa hai ki sidha baithe hai but your knees bend so much that you do have to lean to the handles bars but the handles bars are not meant to be leaned on so overall it becomes very uncomfortable if your are taller than 5 11 because the footpegs are situated further back. Its a shame because the bike is absolutely bang on with the price and features but definitely lacks ergonomics for tall riders

Bulu Bhai totally biased review. After selling Dominar for more than a year he has nothing but average things to say about Dominar.. No negatives to say about interceptor

It will kill your pocket Avg service cost of an avenger220 is 700 to 900 rupees for 5k km Avg service cost of classic500 is 2300-2600 for 5k km So 650 service will be 3500+ approx for 5k km Service interval of 650 is 10k km So 7000 for a service...
