When I got myself back into crafting, after a stage of moving about with the army. I started with two things I hadn't done much of before, one of them was parchment craft, the other was 3D decoupage. I loved it, so I learned a lot to do with vellum, it's a fantastic thing to work with which is very under rated. I have all the special tools for cutting g into, embossing etc. I think I'll have to go digging to get them out. Thanks for showing this Ann, it made me remember all the beautiful things I've done with vellum. I'm sure your Mum loved the card, who wouldnt!I Hugs x Ann 1 second ago

Absolutely love what you’ve done with vellum. The tiny flowers looked totally different when you burnished them. All were cool but that one was my favorite.

Like you, I have LOTS of vellum and appreciate your lovely use of the vellum. I love all of them but especially the first one where you burnished the back of the flowers. So soft and beautiful. Thank Ann.

The flower looked enamelled after you had burnished the vellum with the scorer tool. Beautiful!

Great you showed this vellum ideas 🥰 The card for your mother is beautiful 🥰 I like the silver even more! I am so sorry to hear you tell about your neighbours, that must be so annoying and makes you freeze when crafting. I did not hear that in the video. I could not concentrate if I were you. Some great ways of using vellum Ann, thank you. If you rub the embossing tool over the palm of your hand or the side of your nose to pick up some of the grease, the embossing tool will glide over the velum easily. Or if you're a bit squeamish, rub it on a piece of soap lol x

I'd like to share that I've been experimenting with printing on vellum and it makes beautiful flowers butterflies or well anything you can print with your printer. If the paper curls too much I use my hair straitener on low to iron them.

Ann, one more time, I admire your creativity! Thank you very much for these examples of vellum embellishments, backgrounds, and amazing flower bouquets! Using vellum with alcohol inks is another one of your brilliant ideas! And I think there is a lot of fun playing with them! I really like those techniques where you can't control the whole process and where you don't know in advance what the end result will be ... and yet it is still extraordinary!

Beautiful! After you dry emboss I believe you can still colour it after dry embossing. It looks really pretty.
