Hi Tom You've given yourself a difficult job now, I'm looking forward to seeing more work on the body shell. Its great to see the methods you've employed so far to modify the original train. Cheers Paul

Thank you so much Paul :) Yes, it will definitely be a difficult job. The original idea was to keep the existing front end and make a few adjustments...but 'in for a penny..in for a pound' as they say. I'll push this one as far as I can..I think using Blue Stuff to make 'save points' will be very helpful as it's all too easy to make a mess of things. Thanks again and all the best :)

Cheers Tom Great to see someone attempting this sort of thing and the skills involved. I have plans to make mods to my loco fleet eventually but my ideas are far beyond my skill level at the moment. I'll probably start on some of my old dead locos and see how things go. Cheers

I think that's the best way to go. Grab one of your dead locos and have a tinker. It's a learning curve for me too, but with a few new tools and techniques (plus plenty of mistakes) it's coming together.

Hi Tom, everything is looking good you are a bit like me a perfectionist all my working life everything I did had to be perfect or has near as could be and nothing has changed in my retirement. So I am sure when we see the end product it will look fantastic cant wait for the next instalment. Regards George...

Thank you very much for your support and encouraging words, George. As they say...'If a job's worth doing, it's worth doing well' So if I can do this well, it'll be worth doing in the end. Thanks again George and all the best to you.

Thank you for your words of support :) Yes, I'm trying to pay attention to the fine details as I think they'll make all the difference at the end (as long as I can get them right..lol). I'm learning more as I go...a few new tools here and there and a few mistakes to help me improve the work. Be well, my friend and all the best.
