It will keep chugging along with minimal content until SQEX finally pulls the plug. My guess is they'll finish translating the Season 4 story, which just finished up on the JP side, and then announce EoS. So probably by the end of this year.

The money is in the units, not the content. Can't pay for game development if your revenue from unit investment is garbage. The fact is SE lost 100+ million last year from multiple failed projects and it's probably going to get worse for them because of Rebirth. FFBE has been pushed as far as it can go

True! Forgot about that one. It's crazy how different the everything about the game feels since Hyoh was released. Things felt like they went downhill so fast T-T

No matter how many times we say we want CoV back, they won't bring it. Instead they focused their limited resources with the fiasco that was CoW another, just to remove after three CoW.

my humble opinion - they made a mistake with CoWA, and we are the ones paying the price. *shrugs ...

@@Chengyuan79 CowA was so bare bone and bad game desgin that its baffling how they didnt come to the conclusion what nonsensical mess they came up with and got past the approval. The aftermath of it just made it irrelevant and cow more convoluted for literally no benefit of the events gameplay experience.

They need to refine pools again, fix the inventory management aspect, and change rewards for re-clears on old stuff if they're not going to make new stuff. I've got enough 3ex Sol, Yoshi, Elena, to keep giving them money for more. If I'm giving money now, I want a new guy, not a 3 year old guy, but they don't want to give more than original nv noctis, even that 11 nv pull we just got didn't even spark an intrigue of possibility, we all knew what it would be.

A new player would have loads to do (just without our difficulty from years ago). Enjoy the game if you like. Support them a little, sure. Just do it with your eyes open, knowing that EoS is in the horizon. Cheers, yah?

And then funding for wotv goes to ever crisis, it's a never ending cycle and wishing it to continue or happen to another title is pretty selfish if you ask me. Plus wotv is 10x better than ffbe.

@@Greatestnesss INcluding that funded it for the first several months. which FFBE was PROMISED its own seperate team that never happened. They split the community. they slowed down teh content to FFBE to prop up WOTV. Hoping WOTV ends isnt selfish. If one game is ending both should end. It makes business sense. As both are failing or will fail. The hopes of transitioning the players from FFBe to WOTV isnt going to work. Of Course FF7 is getting all the attention its the only profitable app that SQE has that they basically control themselves. I think the point SQE is trying to make is GUMI is just bad to work with and not profitable to do so. They have ruined many apps. I think they are trying to end the contract with GumI. We shall see.

WOTV is a good game though. I don't want to see it end.

It's not just that, Forspoken for example was a complete flop as well as their venture into NFT dumbness.

FFBE has been getting overpriced and lacking quality for awhile. But it brought in money. I’m not sure how much it cost to keep this game going. I’d at least like to know the end of the story before EoS. I wish we could keep an offline version to preserve our purchases on this game. But I stopped spending last year.
