Christian Yelich hits for his 3rd career cycle. All 3 have come against the Reds, and all 3 finished with a triple. He's also tied for the most cycles since 1901.

A cycle is a very rare thing, 3 is a very rare thing, and all against the same team is an ultra rare thing. But also getting 4 hits is a very remarkable thing alone. Congratulations once again Yelli. Let's go Milwuakee.

AWESOME!! Hitting for the cycle is probably the most difficult feat to achieve in baseball. Having to hit a triple in your final AB is what makes this so satisfying to see and appreciate. I love my team that I've followed for more than fifty years but in pure respect and admiration for Christian Yelich I'll be a Brewer fan for a day. Having followed high school baseball and football in Southern California, I tip my cap to C.Y. as I remember his high school career and not at all surprised by his MLB accomplishments. Even though I'd seen he'd completed the cycle while I was streaming my team I still got chills when I saw him pull that pitch, when I saw his face/eyes as he rounded first base I couldn't have been happier for C.Y. I've seen some memorable games in the 70's & 80's. Willie Stargell's homerun that cleared Dodger stadium that touched down in the parking lot. Bob Welch and Mario Soto battling for nine innings, 3 hits the entire game which was decided by a home run hit by Dodger starting pitcher Bob Welch beating the Red's 1-0. But I'll never forget Nefi Perez hitting for the cycle at Coor's Field in the late 90's. Congratulations Mr. Yelich, wish you continued success, who knows - maybe you'll come back home to close out your career when the time comes! Freddie's here (back home) Wouldn't mind seeing the pitching trio who played together at Sherman Oaks Notre Dame High School (even though I'm an alumni from one time league rival BAHS).

Man if you look at the players the Miami Marlins have let go out of the organization since roughly 2007-8 it’s incredible what a team they could have. It blows my mind the Marlins are not a playoff team if not World Series contender every year if they just held onto some not all but some of there talented players. Yes I’m a Marlins fan lol
