in a previous video I showed the differences between my 119 but I just got another one in and this one is very different when compared to the newer ones hope you enjoy the video and I hope you learn something from the video

Same here when I got my first 119 I have been wanting one of those ever since I was a little kid I had seen it in so many movies and heard so many good things about buck and particular when I finally got my first one I carried that thing everyday and I still carry that knife to this day

Could you PLEASE mention and compare the differences in blade material; i.e., the steel that these knives were built from. Thank You. (Quite informative, BTW.)

Yeah I can definitely do that I do plan on remaking this video when I get back from my trip it's on my to-do list

Think about putting a temporary post-it label on each knife handle with the model year.

Thanks for this informative video. Looking at my dead Dad's buck 119, wondering if this went with him to Vietnam.

Well Vietnam started in 1955 and ended in 1975 if your buck knife was made between those years there's definitely a strong chance it could have been carried with him but if you have a photo of him in his uniform with that knife that definitely helps it because a lot of buck knives were carried into war because the common knives that were issued were known for breaking I'll send you my number and you can send me some photos and I'll see what year yours was made

Yeah I gave you a subscribe and watched your video on your 119 years is actually a pretty rare model yours is a three-line reverse pre-date code you definitely don't find those everyday
