Saw the Cats at the Towne & Country in London..thought we wouldn't survive that night. Punks & Teds were spoiling for a fight out front. It was like witnessing "Rumble in Brighton" first hand except we - two stupid Americans - were presumably the first course. Thank God for a Kenyan cab driver who got us the hell out of there! Great show!!

I Fought the Law is a song written by Sonny Curtis of the Crickets and became popularized by a remake by the Bobby Fuller Four, which went on to become a top-ten hit for the band in 1966 and was also recorded by the Clash in 1979. The Bobby Fuller Four version of this song was ranked No. 175 on the Rolling Stone list of The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time in 2004, and the same year was named one of the 500 "Songs that Shaped Rock" by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Such great talent for 3 guys and such a small drum set. And love the traditional monster base. These guys deserved much more fame and fortune than they ever received. The downside of fusing great music and unfortunately not ending up mainstream. That being said, killer version of this song - absolutely the best cover!

Tennfatmatt.WTF? It's today, and I find his shirt very acceptable :-) But that's because I'm not a brainwashed, guilt-tripping, knee-bending snowflake bullied by BLM and Antifa into swallowing the false narrative/idiot's guide that the US Civil War was started to put an end to slavery. Lincoln spun it that way two years into the war to encourage Britain's parliamentarians to use the Royal Navy, at at that time the most powerful navy in the world. to mount patrols to blockade Charlestone, Va, and other confederate ports from exporting cotton in exchange for weapons and other war materials. That aside, The Stray Cat's do a great job on this-three guys, with only three instruments, terrific!
