Wavy Gravy and a few other hippies once took a bus load of food to a third world country while the rest of the world said it was impossible to get help to them. I forget the exact story if anyone knows.

Did you know that as a child Wavy Gravy took walks with Albert Einstein, is an honorably discharged U.S. Army veteran, was once manager for Tiny Tim, and is friends with Bob Dylan (one of Dylan's ex-girlfriends became his wife)? His real name is Hugh Romney, though he is not a relative of the former Massachusetts governor and unsuccessful GOP Presidential candidate in 2012. See en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wavy_Gravy

If hippies were a bunch of losers then that makes Bob Dylan, The Stones, The Beatles, Joan Baez, Neil Young, John Lennon, Stephanie (Stevie) Nicks, Joni Mitchell, Fleetwood Mac, a bunch of "losers". Those are just the musicians. There were comics (George Carlin), journalists, activists (Gloria Steinem), actors ... everywhere there were hippies. The hippie ethos changed the entire world. And all that music is still being played AND loved. My generation made all other movements look minuscule in comparison and the legacy continues to this day. You're welcome.
