Wonderful story. An elder tells the history of how it was to the children. Tells them of the Antalids, who cruelly took the lives of the old as meat, and the trash jumpers. How the Trash Jumpers would bring about change for the better that led to the people's freedom from the Antalids and a change of tradition. Not to just accept disease or slavery, but change it. How he killed an Antalid, how he joined with the Trash Jumpers to stop the ceremony in which the Antalids took and slaughtered the elderly. The great event of the Trash Jumpers with the mountain in the sky. And the promise - one day, the Trash Jumpers would return when the Antalids are no longer a threat. Wonderful tale!

There is a story from RegalLegalEagle called "The Hollow One" wich seems to take place in the same universe. Was instantly reminded as I heard the nasty aliens named The Red Ones. No trash jumpers though. Just looked it up, AgroSquirrel read it as TFOS#29.

OooooooH! Good one straight to the feels! It has everything needed to bypass our conscious minds. Night, a gathering of the people outside, an open fire, an elder telling stories! Pure Magic! I'm not planning on distributing it, but I'm going to train my personal text-to-speech AI to use your voice. Eventually, I'm still working on stable diffusion, voice and then animation come next. So in a few weeks. If I were you, I would use text-to-voice and/or voice to voice for different characters in a narration heavy story. And just use your real voice for the main character in a dialogue heavy story. Pinocchio is an automated AI installer, If you got a 12gig 3060 or better it's mostly just point and click now. And following a few KZfaq tutorials.
