Re-Upholstering my E36 Door Cards | Massive Transformation!

We are making some super progress now! Half of the car interior is now complete thanks to dying the parcel shelf, re-upholstering the door cards and replacing the back seats!

which vinyl did you use? the front door pockets are the difficult bit, i've been thinking of trying a leather look spandex type material thats super stretchy, but its hard to find with the right finish.

Hey mate, yeah totally agree. Struggling with the front door cards at the moment. Will let you know when I find a solution. I just used standard automotive vinyl.

Thanks mate. Appreciate it. I actually got the fabric from Etsy. Seller was called Berry I think. I just found the foam backing was to thick but it was easy to pull off

Do you reckon it would work on headliners as well as the rear parcel tray

It'll work but it does make the fabric a little firmer. I actually found it really easy to re-upholster the headliner and it's absolutely worth doing.

@@thedetailformula7046 sweet thanks mate just figured it be easier and cheaper as mine was redone only a year or 2 ago but in beige for some reason instead of black
