It's amazing how the film Dogani inspired an actual Dogani Bill in South Korea. The bill eliminated the statute of limitations for sex crimes against children under 13 and disabled women, even increasing the the maximum penalty for pedophiles and sex offenders. For a film that was reported to have low budget and was only allowed to be seen by those 18 years and older, the public outcry that ensued from this movie was incredible and really makes you hope that one day the law will protect the poor rather than the rich.

Having turned 20 this year... this interview was really important for me to see. I never would have guessed that Gong Yoo suffered during his late 20s with his confidence. His advice to people my age is inspiring. I have found myself experiencing similar feelings of anguish and turmoil with over-analyzing what I do and how others see me. I feel my social-anxiety and depression can become crippling at times... It's eye-opening to realize that this is also a shared feeling that even an actor of his fame and age has also felt. I'm thankful that I found this interview because his expressed regret over suppressing his energy during his 20s has sparked a motivation in me to push myself and go beyond what I find comfortable. I only wish I could find him and thank him. I really admire his candidness and honesty. I've always found these kinds of people exceptionally refreshing. He's an outstanding man, and I'm very happy he's found peace and happiness in his 30s. I hope for his continued happiness as well as good health and safety. Gong Yoo, find what makes you happiest, and pursue it regardless of the money earned! This is my advice Gong Yoo. Also, once you've found love, take them to the beach and walk freely and together yell "Yahoooo!" Thank you Gong Yoo!

It's not often i am so intrigued and moved by an interview, Gong Yoo's presence perhaps now that he is older and mature speaks volumes of sincerity and kindness. This lady is a great interiewer as well, the atmosphere felt calm and i clinged onto every single word Gong Yoo had to say, he is so intelligent and emotionally in touch with himself. I wish him all the happiness in the world.

요즘 솔직하고 가식없는 연예인들은 꽤 많지만 그런경우 사려깊지못하고 오만하고 직설적이기만 한 경우가 대부분인데, 공유는 확실히 생각이 깊고 말 하나하나에서 인품이 보임. 사람은 말할때 사소한 어휘선택, 제스처 하나에서도 평소 성격, 진실성이 다 보이는법인데 공유는 전형적인 배려심 깊고 자기자신에게 엄격한 사람. 남자가 봐도 진짜 너무너무 멋있다. 한편으론 자기자신 돌아볼줄도 모르고 머리에 든것도 없으면서 의식있어보이는척 나대는 몇몇 배우들과 비교된다.

Wow.. Just when I thought I couldn't love him more, I discover this movie and interview. I'm in such awe of his passion and talent. I had no idea he was this type of person. I always felt that he had such a beautiful soul but after seeing this interview, I couldn't be more sure that he is such an inspiration. I just wanna sit down and listen to him talk and spit out such raw honesty and compassion.

i not an avid fan of actors and actresses, i frown upon individuals who maniacally rave at them, but after coffee prince, again and again as it is now my stress reliever, i found myself searching and watching other projects of Gong Yoo, he knows how to truly act.. after watching this clip, i'm awed of his candidness, not to mention his rights of children advocacy through UNICEF.. for Gong Yoo, CARPE DIEM, there's a huge difference between living and existing, its never too late to LIVE..

This interview really shows how passionate Gong Yoo is and how deeply he is affected by those events. Thanks to Gong Yoo for bringing this issue to light. I watched the movie and it left me with a deep impression. I will remember this movie for a long time.

I am watching this in 2021, and honestly, after watching his several interviews, I think he is very honest and sincere. I a fan of him, and hearing his advice makes me feel so much better. I have known the actor gong yoo since biscuit teacher and star candy era, and have always thought he is the immature playboy type of person. after watching this interview, i see him in a completely different light. I've enjoyed Gong Yoo's work so far and having the chance to get into this record has been great. Has never known he has this side of him. I watched the Dogani movie a couple of days ago. It is so dark. I couldn't believe that case would happen in the world. But it is real. Gong Yoo is a very good human and actor who proposed this story to be a movie. What a great man! I read that after this movie, the school is closed by the government. Congrats!

Seeing him in clips from The Suspect...man, totally different from his nice guy attitude. What I like about him is that he plays genuine nice guys, and he looks to be that exact same guy in real life! What you see is what you get. In The Suspect, obviously he's not really a lethal North Korean defector, but it was a refreshing look at his "action" side. This man motivates me to act, and the US needs modern actors like him.

i started being a fan after I watch the first epi of Goblin. i love how he act. He can be an actor of any genre. I also love his voice. I can see that he always do his best and learn his role. After this interview, i knew that he's sensitive. I think it's because he thinks about his work so much and he wants it to be perfect. that's why he have those dissapointments and unsatisfaction. Anyways, i still love him. Hope he'll find a wife soon. He deserves to have someone to hold his hand while walking on the beach.

I’ve always wondered why I like him sooo much. I’ve watched this interview before during the hype of dokkaebi. Since then I became a fan and liked him even more as time goes. Two years after dokkaebi I watched this again and I must say I felt his sentiments more than I did the first time I watched this. I can now tell why I like the Gong actor so much. I can relate to him with regards to so many statements he said here. When he said something about how hard it is living in a society where you feel like you should please everyone, I felt that. This interview is just so wholesome and beautifully honest. I will always love actor Gong. ♥️♥️♥️
