Probably no experience with game writing, especially when it's giving you options I don't think he can pull a fallout 1&2 writing because of how open the dialogue tree is and how in depth it's needs to be in tandem with player choice so it's not forced Or he just made this for a quick cash grab from the start

Garfiels constantly references shit in re zero that is heavily lore deep but we just dont know at the time. He referenced Reid and Kurgan way before they appeared and he even meantioned an idiom about Mezoreia. Its something that wasnt yet revealed by tappei.

@@Jakez123 Well, I guess this needs some explanation, so I'll do it: As for Spin Off, I've never heard of it having anything like this. As for the endings, there is a kind of illusion where you think that there are several endings, but in reality it is like this : One real ending, and the rest is game overs , with three main endings, but due to the nature of the story, they cannot be considered an ending. For example, in Re Zero, we have what-if routes, and the main route, each route has a game over (Subaru death) and a Grand ending, while the raging loop has one real end, and the rest are not really different from game over. I will explain by spoiling a bit 🙂 : As we see in the end, among the heroines, you cant choose the heroine u want Also, you will not choose if you want to save everyone or only yourself The main character is the one who chooses to do that and and everything else. I did not play the Re zero game, but what I want to say here from what I saw from your video is that their use of the return from death is not much different from the raging episode, but the raging episode exceeds them by linking the character’s ability with the story (story and gameplay segregation) and that its story is somewhat good( and some of the endings provides some foreshadowing). As you can see, I do not hate the raging loop 👍, my problem with it is that it provides one ending to the story. If they had provided several endings, it would have been much better, and what bothers me the most is that they could have done that. The game had a potential and they wasted it,i felt cheated after finding the game to be linear after all this time 😡😤
