Subaru just casually walking passed his dead bodies but only breaking once he sees Emilia's dead body shows how little value he has in his own life and how much value he has in his friends.

The people who created the Re:ZERO (the anime) are the greatest people in the world. They care more for our entertainment. Some of the episodes are 28 minutes, with no time wasted for openings or endings. The ending still plays as background music for people who like listening to it, and sometimes the opening plays as well. We get 28 entire minutes for anime without any interruptions. That scores tons of points in my book :)

It's always boggled me how in these isekai series, the protagonist never seems to think about their former lives and the families they left behind and how they must be grieving. They're just quick to move on and never seem to dwell on it. That's honestly what makes seeing flashes of Subaru's parents all the more impactful as it shows that despite embracing his new life, deep down, he still dearly misses them

Seriously, you gotta have mad respect for Subaru. The dude's been through the most traumatic tragedies of his life. Not only has he died countless times, but he's also had to see people that he love and hold dear to his heart die countless times as well. And yet, he continues to press forward in hopes of a bright future where he can be with all of his loved ones. Any other person would have gone completely insane from the experiences that Subaru has gone through. I don't care what nobody say. Subaru is one of my favorite anime protagonist because of this

I love how each Opening change in Subaru's journey. On the first one, he's just a terrified boy. On the second one, He's broken. Depressed and devatated, but ultimately regains the strenght to carry on. And now, he marches onwards, unrelenting in his resolve to protect those he loves. No matter how many of his lives might cost him.

I love how determined Subaru is at 0:56 and just keeps going despite dying over and over. He just forgets the past and keeps going, despite that thinking being flawed after going through the "unthinkable present" trial

Subaru has been mentally broken so many times, but he keeps fighting. He definitely is a protagonist who has realistic reactions and problems, this is why I love the anime

One of the things I loved the most about this series was Subaru who isn't the classic protagonist with superpowers or anything, he's an ordinary person who tries to move forward with his will and determination but having to continue to die to save himself and the people he cares about. Precisely because he is an ordinary person you feel like taking on the role of the protagonist in which you would like to make the right choices.

0:12 to 0:14 is fair underrated. The cuts in sync with the music, and then the light revealing subarus face along with the music. It's perfect.

I forgot where I heard this but the author said himself one of the main themes of the series is to take the idea of never giving up and turning that into a weapon and this opening captures that theme perfectly.

Perhaps the most beautiful opening song that I have seen was especially well shown when Subaru goes through his deaths towards one big goal - to save his friends... this moment shows all Subaru's tenacity, his desire to help Rem get out of sleep,I really shoked

I love the parallels between this and the first opening, and the way it shows how much Subaru has changed. In the first opening, he is seen running through the darkness, scared, and when he gets to the light, he calms down for a bit.. happy to see everyone on the other side, he smiles and walks towards it, only to be pulled into the darkness and killed again. But in this opening, he’s desperately running through the darkness more intensely, dying over and over again just to reach that small twinkle of light.

I like how they drew/animated Echidnas smile at the end in way that comes off ingenuine/fake

I love the little montage of Subaru's past deaths leading to the moment of pain seeing his friends dead. Really helps remind me just how much he's been through and how far he's come even if the path ahead seems bleak.

My heart breaks for Subaru. After seeing how much he suffered in the series & in all of the What If? stories, he deserves his happy ending. I don't think any character in fiction has suffered more than Natsuki Subaru.

0:15 Shows him walking alone being depressed and unmotivated to do anything with his life. 0:21 Shows him reflecting on what his parents said that we don't know about or what his parents said to him during the trials. 0:24 I love how this shows him moving on his deaths still strong. If you look closely at 0:31 you see he reacts to something. 0:32 You saw that he moved passed his deaths but when he sees Emilia he stops even though out of everyone he loves she is the one that dies the least and yet he suffers the most from it. 0:47 This is probably Satella coming to tell him something in the same way Rize can do this with Kaneki in Tokyo Ghoul. (We haven't seen any of this but I'm assuming it will happen now that he's chill with Satella now) In the part Subaru runs 0:55 it shows him running to save the ones he holds dear and at the same time shows him struggling and *dying* to get there one of the times he runs with blood in one of his eyes this actually happens in the anime. I'm assuming some of the other deaths while he's running also happen in the anime. You can tell they put effort into the opening. 1:08 The writing translates to ha you thought I'd tell you, I don't steal comments scroll and find the comment by F.B.I from 2 months ago! 1:15 the writing turns red for two reasons to show how much he cares about Emilia or it's writing with his own blood or both.
