The Playstation 2 version of RE4's Mercenaries is one of the more unique variants. There's only 8 enemies on screen instead of 10, no chickens on the Village, only 2 JJ's on the Island and less enemies overall on both the Island and Waterworld. Super Salvador also does not start the round idle and is instead always attacking. Enemies in general are also more aggressive and have a little more health, most notably on Village.
As my guides for mercenaries did not specifically cover this version of the game, as I went for the strategies and values that exist across all other versions, I have had many comments stating that my guides aren't useful for PS2 players. However, the slight changes in strategy do not warrant whole new guides. As a compromise, I've decided to show how I recently unlocked the handcannon on a new save file.

La versión para Playstation 2 de Mercenarios de RE4 es una de las variantes más exclusivas. Solo hay 8 enemigos en pantalla en lugar de 10, no hay gallinas en la aldea, solo 2 JJ en la isla y menos enemigos en general tanto en la isla como en Waterworld. Super Salvador tampoco comienza la ronda inactivo y siempre está atacando. Los enemigos en general también son más agresivos y tienen un poco más de salud, sobre todo en la aldea.
Como mis guías para mercenarios no cubrían específicamente esta versión del juego, ya que opté por las estrategias y valores que existen en todas las demás versiones, he recibido muchos comentarios que afirman que mis guías no son útiles para los jugadores de PS2. Sin embargo, los ligeros cambios en la estrategia no garantizan guías completamente nuevas. Como compromiso, he decidido mostrar cómo desbloqueé recientemente el cañón de mano en un nuevo archivo guardado.

@@Sarcosuchas Talking about Genshin, do you think Diluc would fit as a Mercenaries Char? And if yes, what his load out would be? Also you can’t have him and don’t have WGS as his “knife”

@@Dawn.80 He's a cool guy, so maybe quick-fire akimbo pistols like RE6 Leon could do and a slow firing magnum. Though Navia and Chevreuese would probably be more suited

@@Sarcosuchas indeed, Navia would have a unlimited rocket launcher for sure, and Chlorinde, maybe a Handcannon? Or even a Broken Butterfly, also, we need to hide this, Capcom/Hoyo can’t catch us lacking and steal our ideas

Yes i remember music was kinda different on ps2 than PC today, especially at beggining when first enemies start to attack you at first house. Character animations and models at RE4 were far ahead of time for 2005, just look how Krauser model looks detailed compared to San Andreas which came same year on PC. CJ model from San Andreas -face, arms etc look like its 5 years behind this game.

I mean… there’s really not much difference in his guides he has up now and these… it’s going to be the same for ps4 lol seeing how similar these are to his og guides should be enough.. unless he’s said he wants to do it anyway

@@Sarcosuchaslmao for your sake I truly hope not… but I mean if you make them… we will watch of course. I don’t like when ppl assume or imply you owe them now bc you did this per say. Not saying this comment is that but I see it on other videos, I’ve probably made that thoughtless comment myself before I watched them all.. who knows 😂 but yeh, kinda off topic but the bow work is majestic… I’m so jealous. I panic as soon as I hear a plaga or chainsaw and my already shat aim becomes non existent and drop combos… ugh… I’ll get better someday I hope 😊 Also, I think these are just as good as guides bc you can see patterns and timing, turns and spawns that bc it’s second nature to you… it may not even register to comment on it, don’t get me wrong… your thorough af… but seeing words from other guides in action really helped me I think. Now that I’m done writing a novel .. I’ll stop writing. Love the gameplay as always!

krauser he truly the best because he can easy nuke all boss but that sad he not give him is machine gun like in the campagne with is bow that can be really nice and krauser look damn better in the OG and is voice that the remake who is like a kid voice and bad shape but the island map i really hate is because he put just to much hourglass FR why not reduce the number and give more time with one that a lot for 30 sec to much hourglass to get like around 10 the island map is the worst ever dont know for u but is hard to for try to make that score but the waterworld is prety hard to get like 100k point

Creo que lo habría hecho de no ser porque es 99% idéntico al de PS2, y la mayoría de esas diferencias son visuales, como los iconos de botones o que el modelo de la segunda escopeta está medio roto en PC y le falta parte de la culata xD
